Last Year's #1: Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At The Disco [4/4 weeks at #1]

Our only debut this week coming in at #17 is Taylor Swift’s second single from her upcoming album, Lover, You Need To Calm Down. I like this song. I don’t think it’s as good as some of her past work, or ME! for that matter. But it’s still pretty good. I feel like people hate on it because it’s not Taylor Swift standards, but comparing it to a good majority of this list, it’s really good.

Biggest DROP!!!: Thinkin Bout You - Ciara (-9): And right after having a surprising jump into the top 20 last week, it drops back down. Again, I don’t care about this song at all. I really couldn’t care less about how it does.

Biggest Jump: Talk - Khalid/Disclosure (+11): I still like this song. I feel like Khalid has a really good voice here (when does he not?) and I’m pretty happy this song is doing really well. It’ll probably hit #1 sooner or later.

My Top 5 Picks
#5: Easier - 5 Seconds of Summer
#4: ME! - Taylor Swift/Brendon Urie

mama's house - push baby [6]

The Git Up by Blanco Brown. *explodes into laughter* I have no clue why I like these types of songs so much, but this and Old Town Road are just pure perfection to me. I like his voice and I don’t know why, but to me, it’s super catchy and a really good song.

Next is a song that I’ve been listening to and liked for a while now. SHAED’s Trampoline. This song sounds really unique and cool. The vocals are really good and the song is so different from basic pop, that I have to like it. And I do. I know everybody makes that same argument for Billie Eilish, but her vocals suck, so tell me who’s better.

You Need To Blurb Down

We lost one song this week. Out Of Love. I liked the song, but it wasn’t gonna do well anyways.

Nothing much happened this week except for one very significant thing. Sucker is no longer #1. FINALLY!!! This was at the top for way too long and I’m so happy to see it go. However, the #1 song is not ME!, which slipped down to #5. Which kind of sucks. I wanted to see that song hit #1. So Nightmare is at #2 now, which makes me really nervous because I really don’t like this song. And, it boots I Don’t Care out of the top 5. But, our new #1 is If I Can’t Have You by Shawn Mendes. I’m very happy for this song and it is definitely one of the best songs from the past few months. I’d like to see it stay there for a while.

Songs That Debuted This Week One Year Ago

Babe - Sugarland/Taylor Swift
Ah, yes. This song. I really liked this song when it debuted, and I still like it to this day. Unfortunately, it didn’t do well here or anywhere for that matter.

James Dean - The Wrecks
This was a good song for a little bit. It was more rock than pop, but I mean, it was fun while it was here. It still holds up well now, and I like it. Unfortunately, it also didn’t do that well.

High Hopes - Panic! At The Disco Year-End Spot: #4
Geez. Happy 1-year anniversary, High Hopes. Well, yeah. I still like this song, but, as you can see, it’s very very old. I still like it when it comes on Hits 1 though.

LET YOU BE RIGHT - Meghan Trainor
I feel like I made it pretty clear I don’t like Meghan Trainor. This song is better than her others, but it’s still not very good. Fortunately, it didn’t do well on the countdown. I mean, it did okay, but not too well.

I Like It - Cardi B
This was a really big song in 2018 and it got very annoying because it got overplayed. However, it’s been a year and I don’t mind it anymore. This is pretty good compared to other rap songs *cough* God’s Plan *cough* and it’s not that bad.

Album Review: TIM by Avicii

Recently, some people (not sure who) released a bunch of pre-recorded songs of Avicii’s after his tragic passing a few years ago. The album, TIM, has features from Aloe Blacc, Chris Martin and many others. Today, I will be reviewing that very same album in my second album review.

Peace Of Mind (feat. Vargas & Lagola)
For the album opener, I think this is a good kick-off. It gives you a lot of hype and really starts the adventure that is this album. Although, as a stand-alone single, I don’t really like it. It just seems kind of underwhelming. The vocals are not very good. The production is pretty good, but I just don’t feel like this song does very well by itself. But in the album, it fits really nicely.
5/10

Heaven
The uncredited Chris Martin from Coldplay handles the vocals on this track. I feel like this song is a really great tribute to Avicii. The production is spot-on and the vocals are really good because Chris Martin. This song stands alone really well and was #1 on Spotify for a pretty long time. This song envelops what Avicii was and what he will always be. It’s also really long. Which is really good because the song is great.
9/10

SOS (feat. Aloe Blacc)
This was the first single released from this album and it did okay for a little while before flopping everywhere. I feel like this collaboration was really supposed to be on the album since Wake Me Up with Aloe Blacc was Avicii’s biggest hit. This song is really good. I like the chorus a lot. It’s really catchy. I like whatever instrument is making the noise in the chorus. It fits really well with the song.
9/10

Tough Love (feat. Agnes, Vargas & Lagola)
The vocals here are really good compared to the first, but that’s because of Agnes. And I feel like there’s more singing. This song is pretty catchy and I love the (I want to say fiddle?) at the start. The beat works really well with the song and the vocals. I really like when their vocals overlap near the end. This song is really good and again just helps make the album.
8/10

Bad Reputation (feat. Joe Janiak)
This song isn’t really memorable. Joe’s vocals aren’t really all that memorable and this song just doesn’t really stand out in the album. The production isn’t as good and I know Avicii can do better. I mean, the song isn’t at all bad, it just doesn’t stand out.
6/10

Ain't A Thing (feat. Bonn)
Yes. I really like this. The vocals really stand out. But that’s the thing. I feel like the vocals stand out too much. There’s not much production here. I still really like it though. Bonn’s vocals are really good and the song itself is really catchy.
7.5/10

Hold The Line (feat. A R I Z O N A)
Not sure why your artist name would be Arizona with spaces but whatever. This song is also pretty good. The vocals are decent. The production in the chorus is breathtaking though. I just really like it for some reason and I want more of it. This song is really good. I feel like Avicii hit a home run with this one.
9/10

Freak (feat. Bonn)
The opening of this reminds me a lot of SOS, but that’s okay because SOS is spectacular. This song is really good and Bonn sounds really good and mixed with more production it just makes this much better than Ain’t A Thing. I feel like this is a big step up. It helps make the album what it is.
8/10

Excuse Me Mr. Sir (feat. Vargas & Lagola)
Geez. Avicii had a long session with these guys. I don’t really like the electronic vocals from them though. It just doesn’t seem great. I mean, it’s a bit better with Avicii, but the vocals just really bring this one down for me.
5/10

Heart Upon My Sleeve (feat. Imagine Dragons)
I really wanted to hear this one when I saw the song list and it did not disappoint. I was a little worried it wouldn’t feature the band at all, but it does. These guys do really well with DJs. This song is amazing and is so intense and I love it all. It really tells a story through the whole song. Dan Reynolds sounds really good as usual, and the whole thing is just really good.
10/10

Never Leave Me (feat. Joe Janiak)
This song is better than Bad Reputation. The chorus is really good and it’s a lot more memorable. However, his voice still isn’t very memorable and that’s my issue with these songs with him. I just find the vocals underwhelming. To make a good EDM track, you need a good vocalist.
7/10

Fades Away (feat. Noonie Bao)
This is a really good closer to the album. I like how it starts off really quiet and gets bigger through the song. I love album closers that actually manage to be just that: an album closer. It feels more like an experience than it does just songs.
9/10

Last Year's #1: Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At The Disco [4/4 weeks at #1]

We got this song 1 week after debuting. With You by Kaskade and Meghan Trainor. I don’t mind this song but I don’t love it. I’m not sure why Hits 1 really likes this because I haven’t heard it anywhere else. I think Meghan Trainor sounds fine, but it’s just not that interesting.

Okay. Hits 1 is stanning the Jonas Brothers too much. Most songs that spend 10 weeks in Hit-Bound don’t debut at #11. But Cool did just that. Unfortunately. Cool just sounds like Sucker but worse.

Best Debut: With You - Kaskade/Meghan Trainor (I guess)

Biggest DROP!!!: Happier - Marshmello/Bastille (-17): Well, this song was getting old. Don’t get me wrong, I still like it, but I just feel like this was long due.

Biggest Jump: Thinkin Bout You - Ciara (+21): Okay. Why? I mean, I don’t care about this song at all, but why?

My Top 5 Picks
#5: Love Me Less - MAX/Quinn XCII

Señorita is going to be the Song of the Summer. I’m calling it. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello bring the follow-up to I Know What You Did Last Summer, and it is amazing. I’ve heard it twice and it’s been stuck in my head for the past 24 hours. They both sound really great and I love the Latin vibe that’s coming out of this. Overall, this song is fun, catchy and just a really great song.

With Blurbs

We lost two songs this week. Tequila and Boy With Luv. I’ve had a wild ride with Tequila. At first I hated it, then I really liked it, but now I feel like a country song should not have the #2 oldest song on the countdown for a really long time. As for Boy With Luv, good riddance.

The following songs dropped out of the top 20: Walk Me Home, Dancing With A Stranger, Love Me Less, bad guy and Bad Liar. For Walk Me Home, I like it and I’m happy with its #3 peak. For Dancing With A Stranger I’m glad it’s out of the top 20. For Love Me Less, I’m a little bit sad that it didn’t do better. For bad guy, I’m very happy it’s out of the top 20 and for Bad Liar, I think it was great and deserved much more success.

The following songs came into the top 20: So Am I, Talk, Someone You Loved, Thinkin Bout You and Cool. For So Am I, it sucks and I hope it doesn’t stay here long. For Talk, I like it now, but I can see myself getting tired of it really soon, so I hope it doesn’t stay long either. For Someone You Loved, I’m glad to see it here and would like it to stay for a while and I’ve already talked about Thinkin Bout You and Cool.

Paradise dropped four spots this week. I didn’t think it would do well.

The #31-#29 range.

I’m glad Don’t Give Up On Me is jumping. It probably won’t last long, but that’s okay.

I’m so happy I Don’t Care made it to #5. The song is really good and I want it to hit #1.

Can ME! hit #1 already? Come on!!! How much will it take?

And Sucker. Again. It should not have lasted this long at #1. I feel like this song was just supposed to be Jonas Brothers hype. Not to be taken like this huge song. And there are so many songs worthy of being at #1. But instead, we’ve only had 4 #1s this whole year. In case you were wondering, they’re This Feeling, Without Me, Hey Look Ma, I Made It and this.

Last Year's #1: Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At The Disco [2/4 weeks at #1]

Well… we only had one debut this week. Paradise by Bazzi. I have to say, this song is pretty good. It’s a lot better and more interesting than Mine. The vocals are pretty good, and I have to say, I didn’t really like this one at first, but then it grew on me.

Biggest DROP!!!: break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored - Ariana Grande (-18): Well, good? I mean, I really don’t care about this song. I wouldn’t care if it jumped up 18 spots.

Biggest Jump: If We Have Each Other - Alec Benjamin (+14): Yay! I would’ve preferred if Don’t Give Up On Me or Summer Days got biggest jump this week. But that’s okay! I’ll take this too.

Two new Hit-Bound songs this week. Our first song is another by Taylor Swift. You Need To Calm Down. This song is really really good. Like, almost as good as ME! She sounds really good and it’s just really catchy and fun. This is definitely debuting next week.

Why do we have to do Meghan Trainor? She’s not actually that great. Her new song With You with Kaskade is not good either. It’s just super boring. I literally can’t remember anything about the song except that it almost put me to sleep. So, I’ll review it when it debuts (if it debuts).

Blurb-adise

Please give a moment of silence for Don’t Call Me Up. Hits 1 didn’t even give it a chance. It was a really good song and I wish it debuted, at least.

We lost one song this week. Be Alright. I liked the song, but it kind of faded on me since it debuted, and I’m kind of glad it’s gone.

Happier dropped out of the top 20. Finally. That took way too long to drop.

Not surprisingly, FLEXIBLE fell. It was never that interesting, so I don’t really care about this.

Thinkin Bout You also dropped. I never really liked this song, so whatever.

Love Me Less and Old Town Road both jumped into the top 20. I like both songs and I’m happy they’re doing well here. (Even though Love Me Less probably won’t stay long.)

Here With Me jumped into the top 5, surprisingly enough. That’s really good, this song is pretty good.

And Sucker. *sigh* It now has the record for the most weeks in a row at #1 with 12, and if it hits #1 next week, it’ll have the record for most weeks at #1 beating out Shut Up and Dance, Shake It Off and Hello.

Last Year's #1: Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At The Disco [1/4 weeks at #1]

I’m naming these six songs the Super-Awesome Six. Anyways, our first of these six is If We Have Each Other by Alec Benjamin. I like this song. It has a great message and I feel it’s super relatable. Alec doesn’t sound too bad either. Overall, this song is pretty good.

For the second debut, we have Summer Days by Martin Garrix, Macklemore and Patrick Stump. We almost broke the streak of having a Fall Out Boy song on the countdown since The Last Of The Real Ones I believe, by I’ve Been Waiting leaving. Anyways, this song is really good. Martin’s production is spot-on and both Patrick and Macklemore’s verses sound spectacular.

Next, at #34, we have Andy Grammer with Don’t Give Up On Me. Man. This song is great. I don’t know why people don’t like it. Andy sounds great and the song is really beautiful. I’d love to see this hit #1.

Surprisingly enough, we have Sweet but Psycho by Ava Ma- Wait. What’s that? So Am I? Never heard of it. In all seriousness though, after 10 weeks in Hit-Bound, we have the carbon copy of Sweet but Psycho debuting. I already don’t like SBP, so you can guess what my opinion on this one is. NEXT!!!

Khalid and Disclosure debut with the surprise hit, Talk at #28. I actually really like this song. It’s catchy and has a really good beat. I like this song and would like to see it do better than Better. Heh. (I’ll see myself out)

And for the last of the debuts, not surprisingly, is Never Really Over by Katy Perry. This song is okay. It’s not as good as half of the songs on this list, but it’s okay. I mean, it’s pretty good and I’ll be fine with it doing okay here.

Best Debut: Summer Days - Martin Garrix/Macklemore/Patrick Stump

Biggest DROP!!!: Boy With Luv - BTS/Halsey (-15): Well, hopefully this one will be on its way out soon. It looked like it was leaving, but then it jumped back up last week, and well. I hate this song and I want it to leave soon.

Biggest Jump: bad guy - Billie Eilish (+10): No. This should not be happening. Billie Eilish absolutely sucks and I really hope this doesn’t stay too long in the top 20.

My Top 5 Picks:
#5: Old Town Road (Remix) - Lil Nas X/Billy Ray Cyrus
#4: ME! - Taylor Swift/Brendon Urie
#3: I Don't Care - Ed Sheeran/Justin Bieber
#2: Don't Give Up On Me - Andy Grammer
#1: Summer Days - Martin Garrix/Macklemore/Patrick Stump

Why are we doing so much Lizzo? I mean, I could tolerate Juice, but Truth Hurts? Why does this have to exist? It just sucks. When she goes “Siiiiiiiing in single” she sounds horrible. This song does not deserve to become a hit.

Okay, quick question. Why are we getting into these teenage boys who have super boring songs? First we got Alec Benjamin, then AUSTN. (That’s Austin Brown’s new name) and now we’re getting Asher Angel. One Thought Away is not that good and he thinks he can spice it up by putting a big name like Wiz Khalifa in it. Who got edited out. I’m sorry, I just can’t get into this.

Okay. Why are we picking up a song from 2015? I mean, why even bother picking up a song that you missed from 4 years ago? Anyways, this song is pretty good despite it being old. By the way, the song is PUBLIC’s Make You Mine. This song is good, but I’m just baffled at why they picked up this song.

Next we have some more Miley Cyrus. And geez, what’s the name of this song? Mother’s Daughter? I’ve heard this song twice now, and I don’t remember anything about it. I’ll review it when it debuts.

Next we have Find U Again by Mark Ronson and Camila Cabello. This song is pretty good. It’s not as good as Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, but honestly, almost all the songs this week were very forgettable. I’ll review this when it debuts.

OneRepublic is back with Rescue Me and I have to say, this song is near perfection. It’s super catchy, the build-up to the chorus is amazing, and the chorus itself isn’t bad either. This is my new favorite song.

I don’t know why everyone hates AJR. To me, they’re really good. Sober Up is one of my favorite songs of all time. 100 Bad Days is a perfect representation of what I like about AJR. Personally, I like Dear Winter better, but this is fine. I don’t really like the weird voice in the chorus, but that’s okay.

Best Hit-Bound Debut: Rescue Me - OneRepublic

Blurbs

We lost one song off of Hit-Bound this week. Kills You Slowly by The Chainsmokers. I mean, I don’t really care. I like Call You Mine better anyways.

We lost 6 songs this week. Shallow, Better, I've Been Waiting, Medicine, Power is Power and Juice. Shallow was good, but old. Better wasn’t too great and I’m glad it’s gone. I’ve Been Waiting was good and I’m sad it flopped. Medicine wasn’t great and didn’t deserve to be a hit. Juice was okay. And we have our shortest tenured song of 2019 with one week on the countdown. I think Power is Power deserved much better than this, but so it goes.

The following songs dropped out of the top 20: This Feeling, High Hopes, Let Me Down Slowly and i’m so tired… This Feeling and High Hopes were old, and stayed in the top 20 for way too long. Let Me Down Slowly was never good, and i’m so tired… has been here for a while, so I don’t really care.

For some reason, Chlorine jumped up 9 spots this week. Yeah, I’m not sure why either.

Dancing’s Not a Crime is now in the top 20. I want this song to do well.

Walk Me Home dropped 14 spots from #3. Was not expecting that.

I Don’t Care doesn’t seem to be doing very well, which is sad.

Okay, why did Speechless jump up to #12? It doesn’t deserve that.

Oh, no. Nightmare is doing well. This is going to be another Without Me situation, isn’t it?

Speaking of Without Me, why the actual heck is it still at #4? This is definitely not the fourth biggest hit in North America. I can think of 44 songs that are bigger than it.

I’m so scared that ME! is gonna drop. The only hope that I’m clinging onto is that Hits 1 stans Brendon Urie, so…

Also, why is Sucker still #1? This is too much.

Album Review: Happiness Begins by the Jonas Brothers

You’re probably gonna see many more album reviews on my blog, and well, to start it all off, we have an album by the Jonas Brothers that surprised me a bit. Happiness Begins is an overall mellow album (aside from the first two songs) celebrating the big return of the Jonas Brothers. And well, yeah! Here we go!

Sucker

Ah, yes. The big return of the Jonas Brothers. This song was everything when it was first released. It’s still going strong on a bunch of radio stations but especially on Hits 1. Which overplays it way too much. For the song in general, it’s pretty good, but I feel like it was given more success than it deserved. I mean, it’s a great summer jam, and I’m glad it exists, but I just feel like it was overplayed into the point of no relevance.
6/10

Cool

This was the second single from this album following Sucker and it still hasn’t taken off. I feel like it’s just a cheap knock-off of Sucker. They feel almost identical, and it just kind of makes the song feel unoriginal and boring for a song off of this album.
4/10

Only Human

This is pretty much the last upbeat song on the album. That being said, this song is pretty good. The little jingle that plays at the beginning and through the song is really catchy. This whole song is really catchy. I don’t think it’s strong enough to be a single by itself, but I like it a good amount. This shows how they should make upbeat songs and release stuff like Cool.
7/10

I Believe

This is when I got surprised when first listening to the album to see that there could be mellow songs like this on an album with Sucker on it. This song sounds really good. The chorus is pretty good. The song itself isn’t that catchy, but that’s okay because this song marked the point where the album started to get really good. The last chorus sounds really good too.
7/10

Used To Be

This one is pretty good, I guess. The beat is okay. I like when in the chorus they all go at different pitches. I just find this song mediocre. It’s not as good as some of the following songs. It’s kind of boring and there’s just not much to talk about with this one.
6/10

Every Single Time
This one is pretty forgettable. I’ve listened to the album like three times and it still feels new every time I hear it. It’s again just kind of mediocre compared to songs like Don’t Throw It Away. But I mean, at least it’s not bad. It’s songs like these that just make the album near perfection because none of the songs are bad, and they just all follow the same vibe. (Except for Sucker and Cool.) I feel like it just helps make the album feel complete.
7/10

Don't Throw It Away
Best song on the album. Hands down. It’s super catchy and sounds really good in the chorus. This song is just a representation of the whole entire album. You could just listen to this song and really want to listen to the rest. I feel like this would make a really good single, and I’d love to see them release it.
10/10

Love Her
This song is really good and again just a really good representation of the album. This is also one of my favorites from the album. The chorus is really good and whoever is singing in the second verse sounds really good. The guitar in this song really helps make the song what it is. Just a really solid song.
9/10

Happy When I'm Sad
Correction: this is the last upbeat song on the album. I like it better than some of the first few, but it’s not as good as the last two. But, that’s okay because, in all honesty, I think they’re gonna release this one. And I’m okay with that, because it’s a good median between the first two and the last two that I reviewed.
8/10

Trust
Whoever is singing in the chorus does not sound like himself. But that’s okay, because it helps make the song what it is. This song is pretty good. Honestly, this whole album just took me by surprise, especially this one. But, I like it for that.
8/10

Strangers
Nick Jonas back when he was solo. This is what this song reminds me of. They probably came to some sort of compromise and decided to do a song like this. I don’t really hear the others and I can just pick out Nick and it makes me wonder if this was a Nick Jonas that the others just really liked. That being said, this song is pretty good, I liked Nick when he was solo, but it was just mediocre.
8/10

Hesitate
And this one reminds me of Shawn Mendes. But that’s okay! Because I like Shawn Mendes! This song is really beautiful though, and it was a really good addition to the album. Again, every song just flows together to make a really good album. This song is really awesome and they made a really good decision putting this in their album.
9/10

Rollercoaster
This is another really sweet song and- wait did they release it? I don’t know. Chase recommended it, so I’m not sure what that means. But, I feel like if they did release it, that was a really good idea because this song is a great replacement for Cool. This song is really good.
10/10

Comeback
This is another forgettable song that fits seamlessly into the album, which sounds weird, but makes sense if you listen to it. I honestly don’t remember much about it, so I can’t give a very detailed review of it, but I know it’s pretty good. It’s also a really good album closer and feels like it really wraps up the whole experience, which I just realized is the point of the song, so I’m bumping it up to a 8/10.

Last Year’s #1: Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes (1st week at #1)

Well, I never thought a collaboration between The Weeknd, SZA and Travis Scott would end up being everything I wanted in a song, but that’s exactly what Power Is Power is. The beat is fantastic and the vocals are amazing and Travis Scott’s part fits really well with the song. It’s overall just really fantastic and my new favorite song.

Coming in at #19, we have Easier by 5 Seconds Of Summer. This song is pretty good, honestly. It’s super catchy and it just sounds really good. I don’t feel like this song shows off their band very well, but at least it’s not Youngblood. (That song sucked)

Best Debut: The Weeknd/Travis Scott/SZA - Power Is Power

Biggest DROP!!!: Ellie Goulding/Diplo - Close To Me (-11): Geez. Finally. This one was up in the top 20 for way too long. I mean, the song’s okay, but not that good. I don’t think it deserved that much success and I’m happy it’s finding its way out.

Biggest Jump: Lauv/Troye Sivan - i’m so tired… (+14): Good. I like this song and I was sad to see it drop out of the top 20. I’m very happy it came back and it hit a new peak, so it’s here to stay.

My Top 5 Picks
#5: MAX/Quinn XCII - Love Me Less
#4: Lil Nas X/Billy Ray Cyrus - Old Town Road (Remix)
#3: Taylor Swift/Brendon Urie - ME!

Hit-Bound
Khalid - Talk [4]
Katy Perry - Never Really Over [1]
Alec Benjamin - If We Have Each Other [7]
Ed Sheeran/Chance The Rapper/PnB Rock - Cross Me [1]
Mabel - Don’t Call Me Up [4]
Jonas Brothers - Cool [8]
Ava Max - So Am I [10]
Andy Grammer - Don’t Give Up On Me [5]
The Chainsmokers/Bebe Rexha - Call You Mine [1]
P!nk - Hustle [5]
Bazzi - Paradise [6]
push baby - mama’s house [2]
In Real Life - Crazy AF [2]
Martin Garrix/Macklemore/Patrick Stump - Summer Days [3]
Kygo/Rita Ora - Carry On [5]
The Chainsmokers - Kills You Slowly [5]

Well, we got a ton of new songs from big artists this week but Hits 1 could only pick up three. The ones that they’ll probably pick up next week are: Mark Ronson/Camila Cabello - Find U Again, Miley Cyrus - Mother’s Daughter and Cardi B - Press. (They actually probably won’t pick up that one for a while)

Anyways, the first one that they picked up is by Katy Perry with Never Really Over. I kind of like this song. It seems like a cross between Teenage Dream Katy and PRISM Katy. I find this song kind of boring. I mean, it’s pretty good but there’s just not much appeal to me.

Second, we have more Ed Sheeran. This time with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock. Cross Me is okay, but I don’t like the general vibe of it. I feel like this song could be much better, but they got lazy and decided to put out a mediocre song.

And our last new song is by The Chainsmokers and Bebe Rexha with Call You Mine. I really like this song. Bebe sounds really good, and it’s nice to not hear Alex Taggart’s voice for a change. This is a good replacement for Kills You Slowly if they decide to drop it.

Best Hit-Bound Debut: The Chainsmokers/Bebe Rexha - Call You Mine

Blurbing Is Blurbing

I moved the blurbs down here permanently, because it’s strange when I move it down here, so I’m just keeping it here.

Anyways, we lost two Hit-Bound songs this week. Louis Tomlinson - Two Of Us and lovelytheband - maybe, i’m afraid. For Two Of Us, I never really expected it to debut, so whatever. And for maybe, i’m afraid, all I can say is: FINALLY!!! This song spent like 7 months in Hit-Bound and Hits 1 refused to give it up. And so I’m very happy they finally gave it up.

We lost two songs on the countdown too this week. Ally Brooke - Low Key and Bebe Rexha - Last Hurrah. Low Key never deserved to be a hit and I’m happy it flopped. As for Last Hurrah, it deserved much better.

7 rings finally seems to be leaving soon. Finally. It was bad and stayed for way too long.

Juice dropped down to #32 this week. I want to say that’s good, but I think Lizzo deserves at least a bit of recognition. I mean, I don’t hate the song.

The following songs dropped out of the top 20: So Close, Close To Me and Old Town Road (Remix). So Close was good, but was never a hit. Close To Me I talked about earlier and Old Town Road deserved better.

However, I did not want Boy With Luv to jump back up to #22. I hate this song.

Who Do You Love dropped out of the top 5 after never hitting #1. Sadly.

Surprisingly, Walk Me Home hit #3. I didn’t expect this at all, but. I’m happy.

And to no one’s surprise, Sucker hit #1 for the tenth week in a row. I mean. That’s gotta be some kind of record, right? If anyone can tell me, that would be great.
