#185: I Wanna Know - NOTD/Bea Miller
“Is she all you wanted?
'Cause I wanna know, yeah, I wanna know”
Album: I Wanna Know (feat. Bea Miller) - NOTD
Written By: Jason Gill/Magnus Tobias Mikael Danielsson/Nirob Islam/Samuel Brandt/Sarah Hjellstrom
Produced By: NOTD
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 5
Points: 1
Peak: #45

Alright, so we're starting this off with a really bad song, which isn't great, but when you think about it, it actually is good, since it's the worst-performing song of the year. Anyways, I find that both NOTD guys didn't do very much with the production. It for sure could've been much better. The "drop" isn't good at all, and the weird high-pitched thing going on for pretty much the entire song is really annoying. And then you get to the vocals. Eesh. I'm not very familiar with much of Bea Miller's music, but listening to this, I feel like that's a good thing. She sounds... squeaky? If that's possible? I'm not exactly sure what to call it. But probably the most infuriating thing about this song is that it did really well on Hits 1 even though it didn't anywhere else. I hate it a lot when that happens.

This is the worst-performing of two NOTD songs this year, and the only song by Bea Miller. This song also only got one point, since it only lasted one week at #45. Now, I'm pretty sure by that, you know which song is gonna be last for 2020... *cough* Liar *cough*

#184: My Blood - Twenty One Pilots
“Stay with me, no, you don't need to run
Stay with me, my blood, you don't need to run”
Album: Trench - Twenty One Pilots
Written By: Tyler Joseph
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 5
Points: 4
Peak: #42

So this song was a flop from 2018 that just barely managed to get a week in 2019. Which is a shame, since this is a really good song. I really liked Twenty One Pilots this year, and luckily, their other songs are much higher than this and we won't be seeing them for a while. I've always liked TOP's sound, with normally a really good baseline, a good drumbeat, and Tyler Joseph's almost hypnotic vocals. All of those shine throughout this song, making it a treat and a half. At the start, with just the bass drum and the snapping is a really nice touch. I also love how it comes back right before the last chorus, when, okay, well it doesn't actually get that intense, but whatever, you get the point.

This is the worst-performing of three Twenty One Pilots songs this year.

#183: Beautiful - Bazzi/Camila Cabello
“Hey
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful angel”
Album: Beautiful (feat. Camila Cabello) - Bazzi
Written By: Andrew Bazzi/Camila Cabello/Rice N’ Peas
Produced By: Bazzi/Chris Gehringer/Rice N’ Peas
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 5
Points: 5
Peak: #41

Hunh. I kind of forgot about this song. To be honest, I kind of forgot about Bazzi as an artist completely. This song is alright. I feel like Camila does a better job on this than Bazzi, and I'd probably give the original like, a 3/5. This is a nice mellow song, and a great ballad from this year. You know how there are some songs where you just can't really review it as well as just listening to the song? Yeah, this is one of those. But yeah, Camila > Bazzi.

This is the worst-performing of two Bazzi songs, and the worst-performing of seven Camila Cabello songs this year.

#182: In My Blood - Shawn Mendes
“But I just can't
It isn't in my blood”
Album: Shawn Mendes - Shawn Mendes
Written By: Geoffrey Warburton/Scott Harris/Shawn Mendes/Teddy Geiger
Produced By: Teddy Geiger/Shawn Mendes
First Week: January 5
Last Week: February 9
Points: 7
Peak: #44

This was a big song in 2018, and unfortunately, it wasn't as huge in 2019. I love Shawn's voice in here, and everything here is absolute perfection. The guitar is great, the backup vocals are on point, the writing is really good too, and best of all, his vocals. This song is really catchy and is a little bit of a mix between a ballad and not, because it's pretty fast-paced and can get kind of loud at some points. This was for sure my favourite single from Shawn this year, but unfortunately, it's his worse-performing single. Even worse than the non-single, Nervous.

This is the worst-performing of five Shawn Mendes songs this year. This is the first song to last over one week on the countdown.

#181: The Middle - Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey
“Oh baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle?
I'm losing my mind just a little”
Album: The Middle - Zedd
Written By: Anton Zaslavski/Jordan Johnson/Kyle Trewartha/Marcus Lomax/Michael Trewartha/Sarah Aarons/Stefan Johnson
Produced By: Zedd/Grey/The Monsters & Strangerz
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 19
Points: 7
Peak: #43

So thankfully, the #1 song from 2018 only lasted three weeks in 2019. Because it sucks. This was when Zedd started to get... not great. He had a bit of a phase. It's honestly kind of hard to believe there were three people working on production here, because honestly, it's not that great. Then you get to the vocals, which were done by... Maren Morris? It's really weird to think that the singer that did The Bones this year is the singer. She does not sound like herself, and honestly, I don't regard that as a good thing. Then there's just how catchy it is. This song is way too catchy for its own good. Then there's that damn ticking clock again that NEEDS TO STOP.

This is the worst-performing of two Zedd songs, the worst-performing of two Maren Morris songs, and the only song by Grey this year. This is also the worst-performing of two #1s of the year, according to Hits 1.

#180: Ocean To Ocean - Pitbull/Rhea
“But from ocean to ocean
They gon' have to deal with me”
Album: Aquaman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Deluxe Edition] - Various Artists
Written By: Armando C. Perez/Bianca Oechsle/Gabriel Dunn/George Bechara/James Saaib/Jeff Porcaro
First Week: February 2
Last Week: February 9
Points: 8
Peak: #40

Did you ask for a Pitbull version of Africa by Toto? No? Too bad! Hits 1 picked it up anyways! Fortunately, it performed worse than the song that only lasted one week on the countdown. Which is hard to accomplish. It's good it only lasted two weeks, since it's legit Africa sung by a bad singer, with verses by Pitbull, who seems incapable of making much else than what he normally does, which is generic rapping with the occasional "WoooooOOOO!". So yeah, I'm pretty happy this didn't do very well.

This is the only Pitbull song and the only Rhea song this year. Also, this is the first song that debuted in 2019.

#179: Watermelon Sugar - Harry Styles
“Watermelon sugar high
Watermelon sugar high”
Album: Fine Line - Harry Styles
Written by: Harry Styles/Mitch Rowland/Thomas Hull/Tyler Johnson
Produced by: Kid Harpoon/Tyler Johnson
First Week: December 7
Last Week: December 14
Points: 11
Peak: #39

So this was Harry's second single from his album Fine Line, and despite being a decently big hit, it still dropped out in 2019, lasting only two weeks. However, it is up for vote so that it can re-enter if people want it to. Anyways, this is a really great song. Not really because of Harry Styles, but more so because of the great instrumentation and production. This song has an infectious groove to it that can just get really stuck in your head. Harry's vocals are still fairly good, and they don't really bring down the song at all, making it a pretty good song all around. It didn't do very well in 2019, but I'm hoping it re-enters in 2020 and does a bit better.

This is the worst-performing of three Harry Styles songs this year.

#178: Power is Power - The Weeknd/Travis Scott/SZA
“'Cause power is power
Now watch me burn it down”
Album: For The Throne (Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones) - Various Artists
Written By: Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye/Ahmed Balshe/Eric Frederic/Jacques Bermon Webster II/Jason “DaHeala” Quenneville/Myles Martin/Sam Harris/Solana Imani Rowe/Victor Dimotsis/Zach Cooper
Produced By: Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye/Ricky Reed/Jason “DaHeala” Quenneville
First Week: June 1
Last Week: June 1
Points: 12
Peak: #34

Now we finally get to the song that only lasted one week on the countdown, after honestly quite a few songs. It's really a shame that this song only lasted one week, because it's so good. In fact, it actually landed top 10 on my top 45 songs of 2019. (I think.) Anyways, this song sounds like it came right out of a show as successful as Game of Thrones, (even though it wasn't), especially since all three artists absolutely slayed it. I actually quite enjoyed The Weeknd this year, despite him not getting much success this year. He really does really well in this song, with SZA also delivering on her verse. Then Travis just absolutely slays it in his verse. Especially with the "DODODODODO". (Just kidding, that part's kind of weird.) But yeah, this is a great song that definitely deserved way more success than it got.

This is the only song by The Weeknd and SZA this year, but surprisingly is the worst-performing of two Travis Scott songs this year.

#177: Harry - Kelsy Karter
“Harry
I'm gonna make you love me”
Album: Harry - Kelsey Karter
Written By: Anthony Rossomando/Tony Esterly
Produced By: Anthony Rossomando/Tony Esterly
First Week: March 23
Last Week: March 30
Points: 14
Peak: #39

Some song selections make me question Hits 1 sometimes... This is one of them. Seriously, this song is about Harry Styles. And when you look at the lyrics, it's honestly really weird. And kind of uncomfortable. I mean, the verses aren't "terrible", but then you get the chorus, where it's just her whining/screaming. I'm surprised nobody stopped her. Also, who is this person? Apparently, she went viral for putting a tattoo of Harry Styles on her cheek, but I'm not sure why she's making music. And why Hits 1 thought this would be a hit... 1. Wait. Now I've confused myself.

This is the only Kelsy Karter song this year. (Thankfully)

#176: Panini - Lil Nas X
“Ayy, Panini, don't you be a meanie
Thought you wanted me to go up
Why you tryna keep me teeny? I”
Album: 7 EP - Lil Nas X
Written by: David Biral/Denzel Baptiste/Kurt Cobain/Montero Lamar Hill/Oladipo Omishore
Produced by: Take A Daytrip/Dot Da Genius
First Week: December 21
Last Week: December 28
Points: 14
Peak: #38

Hits 1 picked up on this one kind of late, and as a result, it didn't really perform that well. Also, it's rap. So that's probably also a factor. Now, it's still on the countdown as of writing this, so it will pop up on the 2020 Ultimate Rank, but it doesn't look so good right now. Anyways, now onto the song! This is actually a really good song, and honestly kind of surprising that Lil Nas X got another hit after Old Town Road. He sounds pretty good, and the production here is pretty cool and really great. My only problem with it is that it does get kind of boring at times, and it's kind of short. But if you ignore that, it's still pretty good.

This is the worst-performing of two Lil Nas X songs this year.

#175: Side Effects - The Chainsmokers/Emily Warren
“That ooh, the side effect to my loneliness is you”
Album: Sick Boy - The Chainsmokers
Written By: Andrew Taggart/Corey Sanders/Emily Warren/Sylvester Willy Siversten/Tony Ann
Produced By: The Chainsmokers/Sly
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 12
Points: 15
Peak: #38

This was a pretty big song in 2018, and it ended up lasting for two weeks this year, which isn't horrible, (it's not great though. It only got 15 points.) This is a pretty good song. I feel like The Chainsmokers tend to always do better when they collaborate with female singers. Just in general. (Something Just Like This is an exception.) Emily does a really great job with the vocals, actually, and The Chainsmokers do a pretty good job with the production. This really wasn't a hit, which sucks since it's one of the better singles from Sick Boy. My favourite part of this song is probably the bridge.

This is the only song by Emily Warren this year, and the worst-performing of four songs by The Chainsmokers this year.

#174: Nervous - Shawn Mendes
“I get a little bit nervous around you
Get a little bit stressed out when I think about you”
Album: Shawn Mendes - Shawn Mendes
Written By: Julia Michaels/Scott Harris/Shawn Mendes
Produced By: Teddy Geiger/Shawn Mendes
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 5
Points: 15
Peak: #31

This is one of the chiller Shawn Mendes songs, but kind of got overshadowed by the Lost in Japan remix, which flopped too. This is one of the best examples of simplicity done right. Shawn's voice is pretty chill, and it's just a simple baseline and a simple beat. But it all works for the better. Shawn still sounds really great, and the baseline compliments it quite nicely. The bridge is a little weird, and that's one of my problems with this. Also, it's just not really up my alley that much, but I appreciate it for what it is. Just a great Shawn Mendes song that didn't do very well. Clearly.

This is the second-worst performing of five Shawn Mendes songs this year. This is also the highest song to only last a week in 2019.

#173: Undrunk - FLETCHER
“Wish I could get a little un-drunk so I could un-call you
At five in the morning, I would un-f*** you”
Album: you ruined new york city for me - FLETCHER
Written By: Amy Allen/Cari Fletcher/James Ho/Jeremy Dussolliet/Tim Sommers
Produced By: Malay
First Week: April 13
Last Week: April 27
Points: 20
Peak: #36

FLETCHER's voice in this song is so good!!! I can't believe this wasn't a hit, because her voice is just that good. This song's more basic production really allows that to shine, which is where some people with really good voices make mistakes. *cough* Ariana Grande *cough*. The best part of this is the pre-chorus 'cause WOW! She sounds really good there. Some of the un-phrases in the chorus are a little iffy, like "un-lose my temper". Not very creative, but that's fine. I really can't hate on this song all that much because her voice is so good and really shines in this great ballad that definitely deserved to be a hit.

This is the only song by FLETCHER this year.

#172: Wanted - OneRepublic
“Yeah, I just want to be wanted, oh
I could use a little love sometimes”
Album: Human - OneRepublic
Written by: Brent Kutzle/Casey Smith/Ryan Tedder/Tyler Spry/Zach Skelton
Produced by: Brent Kutzle/Ryan Tedder/Tyler Spry/Steve Wilmot
First Week: December 21
Last Week: December 28
Points: 23
Peak: #33

This song debuted in late December, which is probably why it's all the way down here, but I like to think it's because it's not good. I mean, it doesn't really matter all that much, since it's not doing well this year anyways, so it won't be high next year either. After Rescue Me I was honestly kind of hyped for more OneRepublic. This let me down. This is a great example of simplicity done wrong, as it's just not enough for me. Sure, Ryan Tedder sounds decent, but that really doesn't mean much since there's essentially nothing to this song. There just really isn't enough production. Which seems kind of weird since it's a band, but it would've made this song that much better. Is this unlistenable? Definitely not, but it's just not enjoyable either.

This is the worst-performing of two OneRepublic songs this year. Also, one of the writer's last names is Skelton. That would honestly be a cool last name.

#171: Hurts Like Hell - Madison Beer
“And I hope it hurts like hell (oh-oh-oh)
And I hope it hurts like hell (oh-oh-oh)”
Album: Hurts Like Hell - Madison Beer
Written By: Charlotte Aitchison/Invisible Men/Kiari Kendrell Cephus/Madison Beer/Michael Sabath
Produced By: Mike Sabath and Invisible Men
First Week: March 23
Last Week: April 6
Points: 24
Peak: #36

I've never really been a fan of Madison Beer, she really hasn't done much anyways, only having two songs, Home With You and this, and both were overwhelmingly mediocre. So much that it's not good. This song is just really boring. The only kind-of good part is the chorus, where it's kind of catchy. But the rest is just kind of bland and boring. Also Hits 1 edited out Offset. Not that he added much to the song anyways, but he at least had somewhat of a presence. Without him it feels kind of empty, (even though I haven't heard that version in a while since it's not on Spotify.) This didn't last very long, and it deserved that. (None of the songs that debuted that week did really well.)

This is the only Madison Beer song this year.

#170: Genius - LSD/Lil Wayne
“O-o-only a genius could love a woman like she
I'm a ge-ge-ge-ge-ge-ge-genius”
Album: LABRINTH, SIA & DIPLO PRESENT… LSD - LSD
Written By: Dwayne Carter/Philip Meckseper/Sia Furler/Thomas Pentz, Jr./Timothy Mckenzie
Produced By: Diplo/Labrinth/Jr. Blender
First Week: March 23
Last Week: April 6
Points: 25
Peak: #35

Okay, so you know how at Hurts Like Hell I said that none of the songs that debuted that week did very well? Well, here's another. Already. Unfortunately, this was one of the better ones. I like LSD. I'm not sure why, since their music always has a super weird vibe to it. But that's kind of the charm of it. Sia's voice with the intense production in this sounds almost ominous, and really sets a pretty great tone. Lil Wayne kind of brings down the song a little, since his voice is pretty annoying, and it makes the song a whole lot shorter. Also, I could do without the spelling. But this is a great song. I like Diplo's production here, making the song sound epic, almost. I feel like it could come right out of a movie.

This is the only song by Sia, Labrinth and Lil Wayne this year. This is the worst-performing of four Diplo songs this year.

#169: Waste It On Me - Steve Aoki/BTS
“So if love is nothing more
Than just a waste of your time
Waste it on me”
Album: Neon Future III - Steve Aoki
Written By: Jeff Halavacs/Kim Nam Jun/Michael Gazzo/Nate Cyphert/Ryan Ogren/Sean Foreman/Steve Aoki
Produced By: Steve Aoki
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 26
Points: 26
Peak: #37

So we got some BTS this year. This one's pretty good, the other one is... not. I feel like the reason I like this is because Steve Aoki kind of took it, and made it more for a pop audience. So props to him. He's the only reason this is decent. BTS themselves are kind of underwhelming, with none of their voices really being anything special, and the rapper guy really being not good. Steve's drop is honestly pretty well-done. It's got a decent amount of build-up, with a bit of a silence before it, which I personally think is a really good approach to a drop. So yeah, this is solid for k-pop.

This is the only Steve Aoki song this year. This is the worst-performing of two BTS songs this year.

#168: Purple Hat - Sofi Tukker
“Purple hat, cheetah print
Dancing on the people”
Album: DANCING ON THE PEOPLE - Sofi Tukker
Written by: Jon Hume/Joshua Hoisington/Richard Bynon/Sophie Hawley-Weld/Tucker Halpern
First Week: December 7
Last Week: December 28
Points: 26
Peak: #37

So this didn't last long in 2020. Good. I really don't understand this song. I mean, sure, the production's good. I'll give that to... okay, apparently nobody. I'm not sure why, but nobody was credited for the production on this song. Anyways, other than the pretty good production, and good guitar line, this song sucks. It's just some weird male voice talking, with a female voice joining him at parts. And then some bad verses by the female voice. So yeah, this song sucks and I'm glad it flopped.

This is the only song by Sofi Tukker this year.

#167: SICKO MODE - Travis Scott/Drake
“Gone on you with the pick and roll
Young LaFlame, he in sicko mode”
Album: ASTROWORLD - Travis Scott

First Week: February 16
Last Week: March 9
Points: 27
Peak: #37

So this was a really big song this year. Clearly not on Hits 1, since it's a rap song, but that's alright. I mean, I get it. It's a pop station, not a rap station. (Still doesn't explain Old Town Road, but whatever.) So this is a really great song. Now, I'm not gonna go through the entire song, like I normally do when I review this song. Why? Because I did that, but then I lost it, and I really don't wanna write it again. Anyways, both Travis and Drake really deliver here, with them both giving some pretty great verses. Also, this was written by 30 people. That's probably because of all the samples here. Although Chris Martin is a writer. Which just confused me a lot when I was putting down the list of names. Anyways, he could've been a part of any of the songs. So yeah, this is a great song that should've done better here.

This is the only Drake song this year. This is the best-performing of two Travis Scott songs this year.

#166: Don't Start Now - Dua Lipa
“Don't show up, up, up
Don't start now (Oh)”
Album: Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa
Written by: Caroline Ailin/Dua Lipa/Emily Warren/Ian Kirkpatrick
Produced by: Ian Kirkpatrick

Last Week: December 28

Peak: #32

AYYYYYYY. I love this song. I am absolutely bopping out to it at the moment, and it's one of my favourite songs on the countdown right now. Unfortunately, it didn't do too well in 2019, but it's already hit top 10 in 2020. So good things are coming its way. This is a great song, and I love the 80s vibe to it. It's got kind of a disco feeling, which I really like actually. (I know I criticized that when it debuted Hit-Bound, but I'm willing to forget about that if you are.) My favourite part about this song are the wooden blocks. I'm not sure why, I just feel like they add a certain charm to the chorus, and it was really what it needed. So yeah, I've really been digging the 80s stuff lately, with this and Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. Keep it up.

This is the worst-performing of two Dua Lipa songs this year.

#165: all the good girls go to hell - Billie Eilish
“All the good girls go to hell
'Cause even God herself has enemies”
Album: WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? - Billie Eilish
Written by: Billie Eilish O’Connell/Finneas O’Connell
Produced by: Finneas O’Connell
First Week: November 23
Last Week: December 7
Points: 29
Peak: #33

This is the only good Billie Eilish song this year. And that's because of FINNEAS. He nailed it on the production this time. I feel like if Billie makes a few more songs like this, I can see myself turning around a bit on her voice. Because it doesn't sound that bad here. This song, like bad guy, has a really great bassline, except that's it's not quite as catchy. This got overshadowed by everything i wanted. Which is really a shame, since it's clearly a lot better.

This is the worst-performing of four Billie Eilish songs this year.

#164: Moves - Olly Murs
“It's your moves, baby
'Cause I can't dance in the way that you do”
Album: You Know I Know (Deluxe) - Olly Murs
Written By: Ammar Malik/Calvin Broadus Jr/Ed Sheeran/Steve Mac
Produced By: Steve Mac
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 12
Points: 32
Peak: #21

Man, how was this not a hit? No, seriously. I don't get how this wasn't one of the biggest songs this year. It's legit a BOP. Unfortunately, it only lasted like three weeks in 2019, and I think it debuted in November 2018. So yeah, this really didn't last very long. But it's so good. Olly Murs knows how to make a great song, and he sounds great here, and he seems to be having a ton of fun here. I legit wouldn't be surprised if he was dancing while recording this song. Also you can definitely tell Ed Sheeran touched this. It's got a bit of his magic here. I feel like Snoop Dogg adds a lot to the song though, and it's a shame that Hits 1 edited him out.

This is the only Olly Murs song this year.

#163: when the party's over - Billie Eilish
“Call me friend but keep me closer (call me back)
And I'll call you when the party's over”
Album: WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? - Billie Eilish
Written By: Finneas O’Connell
Produced By: Finneas O’Connell
First Week: May 11
Last Week: July 4
Points: 33
Peak: #40

And Billie shows up again two songs later. This actually stayed for quite a while even though it only peaked at #40. It lasted for almost two months. Fun fact, this debuted after bury a friend, which was released after this. This song isn't... terrible. (I use that word loosely. Don't quote me on that.) She sounds okay enough. My main problem with this is that it's way too slow and quite for me. This definitely isn't a good radio song. Because I could see myself falling asleep to this. I probably have, I just don't remember itb78uh nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

This is the second-worst performing of four Billie Eilish songs this year.

#162: Electricity - Silk City/Dua Lipa
“I'ma love you differently
I'll give you electricity”
Album: Electricity (with Dua Lipa) - Silk City
Written By: Clement Picard/Diana Gordon/Dua Lipa/Jacob Olofsson/Mark Ronson/Maxine Picard/Philip Meckseper/Rami Dawod/Romy Madley Croft/Thomas Wesley Pentz

First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 26
Points: 35
Peak: #32

Um. So I used to hate this. I still don't like this, but I've kind of realized that it's not that bad. Dua doesn't sound horrible here. I mean, she doesn't sound good, but not horrible. The production's okay. Not good, but not horrible. Okay, even this review is boring! Yeah, I don't really have much else to say. The song's boring and forgettable, and it's just kind of meh.

This is the highest-performing of two Dua Lipa songs this year. This is the worst-performing of three Mark Ronson songs this year, and the second-worst performing of four Diplo songs this year.

#161: South of the Border - Ed Sheeran/Camila Cabello/Cardi B
“Jump in that water, be free
Come south of the border with me”
Album: No.6 Collaborations Project - Ed Sheeran
Written by: Belcalis Almanzar/Camila Cabello/Ed Sheeran/Fred Gibson/Jordan Thorpe/Steve Mac
Produced by: Ed Sheeran/FRED/Steve Mac
First Week: December 21
Last Week: December 28
Points: 35
Peak: #23

I remember just waiting for this to be released when I heard it on the album. It sounded like it was created to be a single. Which means pretty good for Ed Sheeran. Both Ed and Camila sound really good here together. Another unexpected collaboration from this project, which I guess was the whole point of the album. The best part of this song is hands-down the beat. The instrument that's making the riff (Is it a marimba? Maybe? I'm not sure.) sounds really great with the song. Then there's Cardi B. Um. She's here. Yeah, that's about all I have to say on that. The last chorus is pretty great. So yeah, this is a really good song that'll definitely do better in 2020.

This is the worst-performing of three Ed Sheeran songs, the second-worst performing of seven Camila Cabello songs, and the worst-performing of three Cardi B songs this year.

#160: Limitless - Jennifer Lopez
“Look at me now
Yeah, look at me, I'm limitless”
Album: Limitless from the Movie “Second Act” - Jennifer Lopez
Written by: Jesse Shatkin/Sia Furler
Produced by: Jesse Shatkin
First Week: January 19
Last Week: March 16
Points: 36
Peak: #40

This had a pretty similar run to when the party's over, as it only got a peak of #40, but stayed for a really long time. In this case, three months. This is for sure better than when the party's over though. Jennifer has a really great voice, and I'm pretty sure you can hear Sia doing backup vocals. J-Lo really nails those high notes. My only issue with this is that it's not very interesting and kind of forgettable. But other than that, it's honestly a pretty great song that probably deserved a bit better than a #40 peak.

This is the worst-performing of two Jennifer Lopez songs this year.

#159: mama's house - push baby
“I'm still here living at my mama's house
Sleeping on my mama's couch”
Album: mama’s house - push baby
Written by: Danny Wilkin/Jake Roche/Samuel Elliot Roman/Steve Robson/Wayne Hector
Produced by: Andrew Wells
First Week: July 4
Last Week: August 3
Points: 37
Peak: #41

I'm not actually sure how this ended up higher than Limitless if it had a #41 peak. I think it stayed at #41 for like its entire run. Yeah, this is also a really solid song. This type of music is really the music that I like. This sounds a little better on paper than it actually is though. I don't think it was executed that well, because it suffers from the same problems as Limitless. It's not quite boring, but it's for sure forgettable. It's not actually that catchy, but it's still a good song. Jake Roche's vocals are really solid, and I think he pretty much kills it in this song. The instrumentation also fits in really well with the song. Also, these guys used to be Rixton. I'm not sure why they changed their name to push baby, of all things, but whatever.

This is the only song by push baby this year.

#158: Lights Up - Harry Styles
“Lights up and they know who you are
Know who you are
Do you know who you are?”
Album: Fine Line - Harry Styles
Written by: Harry Styles/Thomas Hull/Tyler Johnson
Produced by: Tyler Johnson
First Week: Thanksgiving Weekend
Last Week: December 14
Points: 37
Peak: #30

This should've been a bigger hit. Unfortunately, this got overshadowed by Adore You. Which is much worse. I feel like this song was executed very well. It's got three parts to it: the "What do you mean?" part, the "Lights up" part, and the "SHINE!" part. The SHINE! part is definitely my favourite. All three parts are intertwined together throughout the song. Harry sounds really good here, and this is definitely my favourite single from Fine Line.

This is the second-best performing of three Harry Styles songs this year.

#157: One Thought Away - Asher Angel
“And you know it's true, we're connected
I'm one thought away”
Album: One Thought Away - Asher Angel
Written by: Asher Angel/Cameron Jibril Thomaz/Christian Ward/Christopher Chrishan Dotson/Jason Cornet/Michael Hernandez/Moore Melvin Ray III
Produced by: Hitmaka/Foreign Tek/TenRoc
First Week: August 10
Last Week: September 7
Points: 41
Peak: #33

Um. This is a song. Yeah. Insanely forgettable.

This is the only Asher Angel song this year.

#156: The Way I Am - Charlie Puth
“I'ma tell 'em all that you could either hate me or love me
But that's just the way I am”
Album: Voicenotes - Charlie Puth
Written by: Charlie Puth/Jacob Kasher
Produced by: Charlie Puth
First Week: January 5
Last Week: April 6
Points: 44
Peak: #38

This is a very good Charlie Puth song. The hook here is amazing. It's super catchy, and if you asked me to remember it in a couple years, I probably could. Charlie sounds spectacular, (he can't really sound bad), and he did a very good job with this one. I'm glad this stuck around for a bit in 2019 to get decently high on this list.

This is the worst-performing of two Charlie Puth songs this year.

#155: Roaring 20s - Panic! At The Disco
“This is my roaring, roaring 20's
I don't even know me”
Album: Pray for the Wicked - Panic! At The Disco
Written by: Benjamin Freedlander/Brendon Urie/Gary Lindsay/Jake Sinclair/Jenny Owens Youngs/Kenneth Harris/Maynard Ferguson/Sam Hollander/Steph Jones/Toby Wincorn
Produced by: Jake Sinclair
First Week: October 12
Last Week: Halloweekend
Points: 45
Peak: #31

This was oddly the first Brendon Urie flop in... I think ever. Considering this wasn't a single, it makes sense. Yeah, this is a good song. The only reason I didn't really like it when it was on the countdown, was because there'd been a lot of Panic! At The Disco songs. But in retrospect, yeah. This was a solid song. It's got a really cool Broadway vibe to it, and the chorus is quite literally, roaring. The last chorus is really great too. The bridge is a little odd, as is a common trend with Panic! songs, (like Dancing's Not a Crime.) But other than that, this is a pretty good song. Luckily though, we won't be getting much Panic! for a while, since I think Brendon's taking a break.

This is the worst-performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs this year.

#154: Woman Like Me - Little Mix/Nicki Minaj
“My momma always said, "Girl, you're trouble" and
And now I wonder, could you fall for a woman like me”
Album: LM5 (Deluxe) - Little Mix
Written by: Ed Sheeran/Jess Glynne/Onika Maraj/Steve Mac
Produced by: Steve Mac
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 26
Points: 45
Peak: #26

This song deserved so much more success than it got. The girls of Little Mix all sound really great, and songs from them before were huge hits, so I don't know why this didn't stick, because this is easily one of the best. Nicki doesn't really add much to the song (she doesn't really add much to any song), but that doesn't really matter all that much. This song is super catchy. Although the super high-pitched "AH AAH AH AH" in the chorus is a bit strange, this is still really good.

This is the only Little Mix song and the worst-performing of two Nicki Minaj songs this year.

#153: FLEXIBLE - Jordan McGraw
“For you I could be clearing out my schedule
So tell me baby, baby are you flexible?”
Album: FLEXIBLE - Jordan McGraw
First Week: May 18
Last Week: June 29
Points: 46
Peak: #31

This is the most generic song ever. And who does it come from? Dr. Phil's son. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. This song just really doesn't have much to it. I mean, sure it's a little catchy, but it's seriously nothing special. Yeah, that's about all I have to say on that.

This is the only Jordan McGraw song this year.

#152: ALL THE WAYS - Meghan Trainor
“And he said
All the ways, all the ways, all the ways”
Album: THE LOVE TRAIN - Meghan Trainor
Written by: Andrew Wells/Jacob Kasher Hindlin/Meghan Trainor
Produced by: Andrew Wells
First Week: March 23
Last Week: April 6
Points: 46
Peak: #23

We got a lot of generic Meghan Trainor this year. This was no exception. The chorus is decent, but other than that, it's a pretty boring song. She doesn't really sound like she has much life in her, and the production really doesn't help. The verses have absolutely no life to them whatsoever. So yeah, this also isn't good.

This is the worst-performing of two Meghan Trainor songs this year.

#151: There's No Way - Lauv/Julia Michaels
“There's no way that it's not going there
With the way that we're looking at each other”
Album: There’s No Way (feat. Julia Michaels) - Lauv
Written by: Ari Leff/Ian Kirkpatrick/Julia Michaels/Justin Tranter
Produced by: Lauv
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 26
Points: 47
Peak: #27

This is a nice chill song from Lauv. I still don't get why people don't like him. I think he does a pretty solid job on all of his songs. (Except for I Like Me Better. That was a mess.) I think this is a cute song by Ari and Julia. Julia's a really great songwriter. Their voices together actually sound really good together. Yeah, I don't have much else to say here.

This is the worst-performing of three Lauv songs and the only Julia Michaels song this year.

#150: I Hate LA - Hot Chelle Rae
“How could you go ruin a whole city in a day?
I hate LA (Hey), I hate LA”
Album: Tangerine EP - Hot Chelle Rae
Written by: Jamie Follese/Levi Miller/Nash Overstreet/Ryan Follese
Produced by: Nash Overstreet
First Week: December 7
Last Week: December 28
Points: 49
Peak: #33

This was another song that debuted a bit late, but still isn't looking very good at the start of this year. Which is great. Because this song sucks. It's just super boring and basic, and it feels like they hardly tried at all in this. Also, whoever's doing those backup vocals does not sound good. Although, I do enjoy the chimes when the guy finds out that the girl is gone. But other than that, this song is just a really bad excuse for a mainstream pop song. It is quite catchy though, and the beat isn't that bad, which is why it's in cyan instead of red.

This is the only Hot Chelle Rae song this year.

#149: GIRL - Maren Morris
“Everyone's gonna be okay
Baby girl”
Album: GIRL - Maren Morris
Written by: Greg Kurstin/Maren Morris/Sarah Aarons
Produced by: Greg Kurstin
First Week: March 23
Last Week: April 20
Points: 51
Peak: #27

The only reason Hits 1 picked up on this song was because of The Middle. Which is a pretty lame excuse for picking up songs from a country artist on a pop station. Now, Maren doesn't sound terrible, and this definitely isn't one of the worst country songs I've heard, but it suffers from the same reasons as I Hate LA, that being that it's just really boring, and feels like no one put any effort into it. The guitar line is super basic, and really doesn't add much to the song, even though it's the backbone of the song. Which isn't great. I like the little nod to Halo in the bridge, but other than that, this song isn't great. Also, the outro is way too long.

This is the best-performing of two Maren Morris songs this year.

#148: Into the Unknown - Panic! At The Disco
“I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you
Into the unknown”
Album: Frozen 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack/Deluxe Edition) - Various Artists
Written by: Kristen Anderson-Lopez/Robert Lopez
Produced by: Jake Sinclair
First Week: December 14
Last Week: December 28
Points: 51
Peak: #24

As soon as you hear that soaring "into the unKNOOOOOWN" at the start, you know this came from a movie. It sounds super cinematic, and Brendon has a great voice for that. I really wish this lasted a bit longer in 2020, as it already left the countdown in early February I believe, but whatever. The "OH OH OH OH OHHHHH" sounds really great with the quiet vocals, and the track is easily the best part of this song. There's so many instruments, and it's so much better than the original. So yeah, this was a really great song that deserved to be big. Although, it did get a few weeks on the Hot 100, so that's good.

This is the second-worst performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs this year.

#147: Medicine - Jennifer Lopez/French Montana
“Think you need some medicine
Give you a taste of what you give out”
Album: Por Primera Vez - Jennifer Lopez
Written by: Jennifer Lopez/Karim Kharbouch/Kimberly Krysiuk/Mikkel Eriksen/Moses Ayo Samuels/Olaniyi Michael Akinkunmi/Tor Erik Hermansen/Varren Wade
Produced by: Brian Gardner/Tim Blacksmith/Thomas Warren/Stargate on behalf of 45th & 3rd Music/Sons of Sonix/Mikkel Eriksen
First Week: May 11
Last Week: June 1
Points: 52
Peak: #29

We got some J-Lo this year. None of it performed very well. For some reason, Hits 1 kept French Montana on this. I seriously can't get behind this song at all. I'm not sure why, since I totally get the appeal, and I kind of want to like it. But I just can't. There's plenty reasons why I should. The saxophone line is great, and it's honestly pretty catchy. But something here just really isn't clicking for me. I'm not sure what it is though.

This is the best-performing of two Jennifer Lopez songs this year, and the only French Montana song this year.

#146: Say Amen (Saturday Night) - Panic! At The Disco
“Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh, it's Saturday night, yeah”
Album: Pray for the Wicked - Panic! At The Disco
Written by: Andrew Greene/Brendon Urie/Brian Profilio/Daniel Foder/Imad Roy El-Amine/Jake Sinclair/Jared Tankel/Lauren Pritchard/Michael Deller/Nathan Abshire/Sam Hollander/Suzy Shinn/Thomas Brenneck/Toby Wincorn/Tom Peyton
Produced by: Jake Sinclair
First Week: January 5
Last Week: February 9
Points: 54
Peak: #35

This was a bigger 2018 song than it was a 2019 song. It did still last for like a month in 2019 though, so it stayed long enough for it to be this high on the list. Although it's still just over 50 points after 40 reveals. So yeah, this is a great song. This was Panic!'s first single from Pray for the Wicked, and it was definitely a good choice. Brendon sounds great here, and this still sounds like some of their music from Death of a Bachelor, so for people who liked Panic! when they were a band, this got them intrigued in Brendon's stuff. But yeah, even the chopped-up vocals actually fit really well here. Also, I have no clue how Brendon hits a note that high. I couldn't hit that even if I tried. So yeah, this was a pretty great song that definitely deserved four weeks at #1.

This is the third-worst performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs this year.

#145: Harder - Jax Jones/Bebe Rexha
“When you think you've done enough
Can you love me harder?”
Album: Snacks - Jax Jones
Written by: Camille Purcell/Steve Mac/Timucin Lam
Produced by: Jax Jones/Steve Mac
First Week: September 7
Last Week: October 5
Points: 54
Peak: #31

Um. Bebe sounds good here. Yeah, that's about all I have to say about that. The production is pretty basic and bland. It kind of works a bit with Bebe's voice, but I think this song would've benefited a lot from a little more production. There are just some songs that really don't nail the simplicity factor, and this is for sure one of them. Also, I don't really like the simplicity factor all that much. It just doesn't really appeal to me.

This is the only Jax Jones song, and the worst-performing of four Bebe Rexha songs this year.

#144: Shotgun - George Ezra
“I'll be riding shotgun underneath the hot sun
Feeling like a someone”
Album: Staying at Tamara’s - George Ezra
Written by: Fred Gibson/George Barnett/Joel Pott
Produced by: Cam Blackwood/FRED
First Week: January 5
Last Week: March 16
Points: 56
Peak: #38

Aw, man! I forgot about this song! Looking back at it, it only racked up enough points to make it this high because it stayed for much longer than it should've for a peak of #38. I'm not complaining though. George slays this song, and the cool production that makes no sense when you're wearing one earbud is amazing. The bassline is legit vibin in this song, and it seems like this song was made with a lot of fun and I feel like everyone had a blast making this. So yeah, this song is really great.

This is the only George Ezra song this year.

#143: I'm a Mess - Bebe Rexha
“I'm a mess, I'm a loser
I'm a hater, I'm a user”
Album: Expectations - Bebe Rexha
Written by: Bebe Rexha/Jussifer/Justin Tranter/Meredith Brooks/Shelly Peiken
Produced by: Jussifer
First Week: January 5
Last Week: April 6
Points: 58
Peak: #36

This song is kind of the same deal as Shotgun, as it was more of a 2018 song, but stayed for four months with a peak of #36. Um... what? Anyways, Bebe sounds pretty great in this song, and she slays it here. (Did I use that for Shotgun too? Yes I did. I take that back.) The production is actually super cool here, and the chorus is really catchy. Also, somewhere in the chorus it sounds like she says "I don't trust no one/No llamas". Seriously, go listen to it again, it's pretty funny.

This is the second-worst performing of four Bebe Rexha songs this year.

#142: Find U Again - Mark Ronson/Camila Cabello
“It's too late, too late
Baby, I know I'll never find you again”
Album: Late Night Feelings - Mark Ronson
Written by: Camila Cabello/Ilsey Juber/Kevin Parker/Mark Ronson
Produced by: Mark Ronson/Kevin Parker
First Week: August 10
Last Week: August 31
Points: 58
Peak: #23

This song probably deserved better. Camila sounds great here, and the production from Mark here is amazing. This is super catchy, and the layering in the bridge and the last chorus is great. This is a bit short though. Not much else to say here.

This is the second-worst performing of three Mark Ronson songs and the second-worst performing of seven Camila Cabello songs this year.

#141: I Found You - benny blanco/Calvin Harris
“'Cause I found you
I found you”
Album: FRIENDS KEEP SECRETS - benny blanco
Written by: Adam Wiles/Benjamin Levin
Produced by: benny blanco/Calvin Harris
First Week: January 26
Last Week: February 16
Points: 59
Peak: #22

benny blanco made some really great songs this year, but this was for sure not one of them. He shouldn't have picked Calvin Harris to do vocals, and he for sure could've done more with the production. Calvin really doesn't do blanco justice, because his voice is super scratchy and nasally and it just really doesn't sound good. There were some really bad choices made here, and I'm glad it only lasted less than a month. And I believe it got the biggest jump and then drop immediately after, which is always funny.

This is the worst-performing of two benny blanco songs, and the only Calvin Harris song this year.

#140: Shameless - Camila Cabello
“Right now, I'm shameless
Screamin' my lungs out for ya”
Album: Romance - Camila Cabello
Written by: Ali Tamposi/Andrew Wotman/Camila Cabello/Jonathan Bellion/Jordan K. Johnson/Stefan Johnson
Produced by: Andrew Watt/The Monsters & Strangerz
First Week: September 14
Last Week: October 12
Points: 60
Peak: #29

This was released alongside Liar, and personally, I think this one's better. The production here is much better than Liar, and there she just goes for the exact same latin vibe. The drop here is pretty cool, and it's super interesting. My only problem here is that in the chorus, she's kind of screaming, and though it doesn't sound great, it's Camila Cabello, so it can't exactly sound bad. Especially with the production here. The instrumentation compliments that part so well, that it almost makes up for it. However, that's why it's in blue and not green. (Remember: blue is still good. It's a 4/5). So yeah, this was a great song that probably should've had more success.

This is the fourth best/worst-performing of seven Camila Cabello songs this year.

#139: 3 Nights - Dominic Fike
“Three nights at the motel
Under streetlights
In the city of palms”
Album: Don’t Forget About Me, Demos - Dominic Fike
Written by: Dominic Fike/Kevin “Capi” Carbo
Produced by: Kevin “Capi” Carbo
First Week: September 7
Last Week: November 9
Points: 63
Peak: #31

This lasted for a while, but didn't get very high. Yeah, I think it probably deserved a bit better. It's extremely catchy, with the guitar in it giving you a really feel-good vibe. Now, his voice is a little uninteresting, but it works with the song. The chorus is great, being very very catchy. Yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say about this. Pretty good though.

This is the only Dominic Fike song this year.

#138: ROXANNE - Arizona Zervas
“Roxanne
All she wanna do is party all night”
Album: ROXANNE - Arizona Zervas
Written by: Arizona Zervas/Jace Jennings/Jacob Greenspan/Lauren LeRue
Produced by: 94Skrt/JaeGreen
First Week: December 7
Last Week: December 28
Points: 64
Peak: #28

This song is right now vibing in the top 10, and I'm very happy about it. This is... well yeah, it's a meme song, but I think it's actually unironically good. Arizona's voice actually sounds pretty good, and you honestly get used to the heavy autotune after a while. The song is extremely catchy, and the beat is honestly really good and well-made. Yeah, this is gonna do better in 2020, and I'd love to see it hit top 5.

This is the only Arizona Zervas song this year.

#137: 1999 - Charli XCX/Troye Sivan
“I just wanna go back, back to 1999
Take a ride to my old neighborhood”
Album: Charli - Charli XCX
Written by: Brett McLaughlin/Charlotte Aitchison/Noonie Bao/Oscar Holter/Troye Sivan
Produced by: Oscar Holter
First Week: February 2
Last Week: February 23
Points: 64
Peak: #25

Now, this was in my bottom 10 songs of the year, and for good reason. First of all, I hate the beat. The weird instrument doing it really doesn't sound all that good. The keys in the chorus are okay, but overall it's kind of sloppy. Charli and Troye's styles clash so much, and they don't sound good together. Troye is legit the only good part about this song. Charli sounds absolutely terrible, and I've honestly never been a fan of her. I find her voice really annoying and obnoxious. So yeah, I don't like this.

This is the only Charli XCX song, and the worst-performing of two Troye Sivan songs this year.

#136: Trust My Lonely - Alessia Cara
“Don't you know that you're bad for me?
I gotta trust my lonely”
Album: The Pains Of Growing - Alessia Cara
Written by: Alessia Caracciolo/Andrew Wansel/Warren Okay Felder
Produced by: Pop & Oak
First Week: January 19
Last Week: February 9
Points: 66
Peak: #28

This was kind of a let-down for an Alessia Cara song. Growing Pains was so good, and the song that came after it, Out Of Love was also really good. The production and chorus in this song's kind of weird. I'm not quite sure what she was going for here, and it really didn't stick. This song didn't perform well either, so you know... that's not necessarily a bad thing.

This is the worst-performing of two Alessia Cara songs this year.

#135: Dear Winter - AJR
“But dear Winter, I hope you like your name
I'm hoping that someday, I can meet you on this Earth”
Album: Neotheater - AJR
Written by: Adam Met/Jack Met/Ryan Met
Produced by: Ryan Met
First Week: Halloweekend
Last Week: December 28
Points: 67
Peak: #30

Ah yes, the worst AJR song ever, that got a lot of backlash in our community because nobody likes AJR anyways. "But Beluga, you love AJR! Why not this?" Because this isn't AJR. Okay well, it is, but it's not what I like about AJR. I like their big, stupid, blown-up stuff, not this guitar ballad. Jack doesn't sound very good with the high stuff, which he does a lot in this song. Plus, the writing is absolutely stupid. It's supposed to be a sweet song about his daughter, but with him repeating "Dear Winter, I hope you like your name" a lot, it gets kind of boring. Also, there are lines like: "You know I can not wait to teach you how to curse" I mean, how messed up is that? I really wish this song was never made.

This is the worst-performing of two AJR songs this year.

#134: Dumb Blonde - Avril Lavigne/Nicki Minaj
“I ain't no dumb blonde
I ain't no stupid Barbie doll”
Album: Head Above Water - Avril Lavigne
Written by: Avril Lavigne/Bonnie McKee/Mitch Allan
Produced by: Mitch Allan
First Week: April 13
Last Week: May 18
Points: 67
Peak: #20

This song mixes some older-sounding Avril Lavigne with some newer-sounding Avril Lavigne. And it works really well. However, I do have one problem with this. Her voice is a little grating in the chorus, but with it being really fun and catchy, I can't hate this for it. The verses are great, and the pre-chorus is better, and honestly, this song just kills it in many ways. I feel like we could've done without Nicki Minaj, but whatever. For some reason, Hits 1 refuses to edit her out of stuff.

This is the worst-performing of two Avril Lavigne songs, and the best-performing of two Nicki Minaj songs this year.

#133: In Betweenin' - AUSTN
“Baby, we're all or we're nothing
Yeah, there's no in between' with you”
Album: Chapter 1: In Betweenin’ - AUSTN
Written by: Alex Sacco/AUSTN/Daniel Henig
Produced by: Alex Sacco/Daniel Henig
First Week: March 30
Last Week: May 4
Points: 68
Peak: #22

Honestly, there was a point here where I wasn't sure if this was a girl or a guy singing it. (It's a guy) His voice is just so ridiculously high-pitched and young-sounding that I can't get behind this, or even really take it seriously. I mean, he's 16. That being said, it is pretty catchy though, so I can't hate it. That's why it's just kind of mediocre for me.

This is the only AUSTN song this year.

#132: Out Of Love - Alessia Cara
“Oh, when did you fall out of love?
Out of love”
Album: The Pains Of Growing - Alessia Cara
Written by: Alessia Caracciolo/Rick Nowels
Produced by: Rick Nowels/Dean Reid
First Week: April 28
Last Week: June 22
Points: 70
Peak: #36

Yeah, I didn't think this would be much higher than Trust My Lonely. But I mean, you last two months, you're gonna get high even if you only got a #36 peak. This is a very very good song. Alessia just kills it in this ballad. I never really expected an Alessia Cara ballad to work, but consider me surprised. The production starts off almost non-existent, but it slowly builds until it starts sounding really really good. Her voice compliments this song so well, and everything about this just works. Honestly, the last chorus still gives me chills.

#131: Adore You - Harry Styles
“I'd walk through fire for you
Just let me adore you”
Album: Fine Line - Harry Styles
Written by: Amy Allen/Harry Styles/Thomas Hull/Tyler Johnson
Produced by: Kid Harpoon
First Week: December 14
Last Week: December 28
Points: 72
Peak: #18

I wish this was higher just so I didn't have to rant about it still being #1. Ah well. Our current #1 was probably destined to line up with a 2019 Ultimate Rank reveal eventually, so this might as well happen. Yeah, I don't like this song. It's so lifeless. It has almost nothing to it. Also, I'm not entirely thrilled by his vocal performance here. Yeah, I don't really have much else to say. I hope this doesn't stay at #1 for too much longer, and What A Man Gotta Do can kick it off soon.

This is the best-performing of three Harry Styles songs this year.

#130: Back To You - Selena Gomez
“If I could do it all again
I know I'd go back to you”
Album: 13 Reasons Why (Season 2) - Various Artists
Written by: Amy Allen/Diederik Van Elsas/Micah Premnath/Parrish Warrington/Selena Gomez
Produced by: Ian Kirkpatrick/Trackside
First Week: January 5
Last Week: February 9
Points: 77
Peak: #30

Selena Gomez didn't have the most eventful year in 2019, with this actually being a 2018 song, which just happened to flop over into 2019 for a month. She did release Rare later in the year, but one of those songs flopped and the other one peaked in 2020. For this song itself, it's pretty good. Selena sounds pretty good, and it reminds me a lot of Wolves, which is really good. This song is really catchy, and it definitely deserved that #2 peak. I haven't watched 13 Reasons Why, but it sure does produce some good music.

This is the worst-performing of three Selena Gomez songs this year.

#129: Mother's Daughter - Miley Cyrus
“I'm nasty, I'm evil
Must be something in the water or that I'm my mother's daughter”
Album: SHE IS COMING - Miley Cyrus
Written by: Alma Miettinen/Andrew Wyatt/Miley Cyrus
Produced by: Andrew Wyatt
First Week: August 10
Last Week: August 31
Points: 77
Peak: #20

This already won the title of the biggest small hit of 2019. What else can I give it? It's pretty good. I'm not totally in love with it, as I know some are, but it's pretty solid. Miley sounds good, but she really should stick with the country stuff, because her voice works so much better with that stuff. The production is decent, with the little riff thing (I don't know how to explain it. If you know, you know.) running throughout the song being pretty good. I don't really like the bridge that much. It's kind of odd, and I don't like the sound of it. If you get what I mean.

This is the worst-performing of two Miley Cyrus songs in 2019.

#128: Raising Hell - Kesha/Big Freedia
“Singing oh, mama raised me well
But I don't wanna go to Heaven without raising hell”
Album: High Road - Kesha
Written by: Ajay Bhattacharyya/Kesha Sebert/Sean Douglas/Stephen Wrabel
Produced by: Omega/Stint
First Week: November 16
Last Week: December 28
Points: 80
Peak: #31

This was Kesha's big release from her album High Road, and... it was a bit of a let-down. It didn't feel as fun as it was trying to be, and the horns in the chorus just kind of come off as a little obnoxious. Big Freedia doesn't really add much, and in my opinion doesn't really deserve a credit, but whatever. I really don't like this as much as I want to.

This is the worst-performing of two Kesha songs, and the only Big Freedia song in 2019.

#127: 365 - Zedd/Katy Perry
“Are you gonna be the one that's on my mind?
3-6-5, all the time”
Album: 365 - Zedd
Written by: Anton Zaslavski/Caroline Ailin/Corey Sanders/Daniel Davidsen/Katy Perry/Mich Hansen/Peter Wallevik
Produced by: Zedd/PhD/Cutfather
First Week: February 23
Last Week: March 30
Points: 80
Peak: #28

This is hands-down one of the best songs of the year. It deserved so much better than this. Zedd really nailed this one, but this is a prime example of what happens if you don't endorse your song. This could've been much better than it was. This even skipped Hit-Bound for goodness' sake! That almost never happens! Katy also nailed it in this song, and this for sure deserved to be her biggest song of the year, over Never Really Over and Small Talk of all songs. She sounds really good with Zedd's production (She sounds good in Never Really Over, but Zedd just didn't nail that one like he did this) This song is extremely catchy, and definitely deserved to be a huge hit. I know I've said that a lot, but I can't stress it enough.

This is the best-performing of two Zedd songs, and the worst-performing of three Katy Perry songs in 2019.

#126: Hustle - P!nk
“So don't hustle me, don't hustle me
Don't hustle me, and don't hustle me”
Album: Hurts 2B Human - P!nk
Written by: Alecia Moore/Dan Reynolds/Jorgen Odegard
Produced by: Jorgen Odegard
First Week: July 13
Last Week: August 17
Points: 85
Peak: #26

This wasn't really a single, either that or it just really didn't take off anywhere. And this is okay. Don't get me wrong, it's catchy, and P!nk sounds good and all, but compared to Walk Me Home, this is nothing. The chorus gets a little repetitive, with her mostly just repeating the same phrase, and it can get a little boring. Even though it's fairly upbeat, it can still be boring. Which is weird. This isn't bad though. Definitely not deserving to be a hit though.

This is the worst-performing of two P!nk songs in 2019.

#125: Jesus In LA - Alec Benjamin
“And it's a crying shame you came all this way
'Cause you won't find Jesus in LA”
Album: These Two Windows - Alec Benjamin
Written by: Alec Benjamin/Martin Terafe
Produced by: John Cunningham/Martin Terafe
First Week: September 28
Last Week: October 26
Points: 86
Peak: #22

Alec Benjamin. That is all I need to say. It's mediocre, and fairly boring. He has no emotion or life in his voice at all, he sounds like a child, and I don't know why Hits 1 likes him so much. The bridge is pretty good though. I like that a lot actually.

This is the worst-performing of three Alec Benjamin songs in 2019.

#124: Consequences - Camila Cabello
“A steady place to let down my defenses
But loving you had consequences”
Album: Camila - Camila Cabello
Written by: Amy Wadge/Camila Cabello/Emily Weisband/Nicolle Galyon
Produced by: Bart Schoudel
First Week: January 5
Last Week: January 26
Points: 88
Peak: #16

I'm gonna be completely honest here... I completely forgot this existed. It's a Camila Cabello ballad, and a little forgettable, but other than that, it's a very solid song. The song does actually build, which is what I really like in a ballad, and Camila sounds really solid. This was caught near the end of its run, and it fell pretty hard off of a decently high peak. I like the instrumentation here, and it's a very solid song and definitely worthy of being this high.

This is the third-best performing of seven Camila Cabello songs in 2019.

#123: Paradise - Bazzi
“Let's go to (paradise)
This s*** feel like Friday nights”
Album: Soul Searching - Bazzi
Written by: Andrew Bazzi/Kevin White
First Week: June 15
Last Week: August 3
Points: 91
Peak: #23

Listening back to this song, I really have no clue why I thought it was only decent. The verses could be better, but other than that, the pre-chorus and the chorus itself are very good. I don't entirely love Bazzi's voice, but other than that, this is a very solid song. The second verse actually improves a lot on the first one, and it builds really well. Yeah, this is pretty good. Although, I feel Bazzi might stay a one-hit wonder with Mine.

This is the best-performing of two Bazzi songs in 2019.

#122: Higher Love - Kygo/Whitney Houston
“That love, that love
Bring me higher love, love”
Album: Higher Love - Kygo
Written by: Steve Winwood/Will Jennings
Produced by: Narada Michael Walden/Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll
First Week: October 12
Last Week: Thanksgiving Weekend
Points: 92
Peak: #29

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. This pains me that this isn't higher. This is one of the best songs of the year, and it really deserved to be a hit, even though it only was for a few days. This song legit brought Whitney Houston back to life, in the most glorious way possible. And because of Kygo of all people. The cut-up parts sound really good actually, and this is an extremely good song. Also, check out the Ndolvu Youth Choir version. They're from America's Got Talent, and they did a really good job with this song.

This is the only Kygo song and (obviously) the only Whitney Houston song in 2019.

#121: Apologize - grandson
“Never been a perfect soul
But I will not apologize”
Album: a modern tragedy vol. 2 - grandson
Written by: Jordan Benjamin/Kevin Hissink/Taylor Bird
Produced by: Boonn/Taylor Bird
First Week: March 9
Last Week: April 13
Points: 92
Peak: #25

Man, it also pains me that this wasn't higher. Sure, his voice isn't amazing, I'll give you that. But MAN! that instrumentation is on point! It compliments his voice so well and fits the song really nicely. The song is pretty catchy too, and that last chorus is just absolutely roaring. 10/10, would recommend. (Enthusiastic applause)

This is the only grandson song in 2019.

#120: Dance Monkey - Tones And I
“Dance for me, dance for me, dance for me, oh-oh-oh
I've never seen anybody do the things you do before”
Album: The Kids Are Coming - Tones and I
Written by: Toni Watson
Produced by: Konstantin Kersting/Toni Watson
First Week: Halloweekend
Last Week: December 28
Points: 93
Peak: #27

This is more of a 2020 song, and will appear higher then. But for now, it did manage to rack up enough points to be this high up in one month. Yeah, I really like this song. No, her voice is not good. I know that. But there's a sort of charm to it that you can't deny. Because of that, it's maken this song a lot more tolerable for me. It's also extremely catchy, and the production is pretty solid. I'm glad this was a hit everywhere else, but I'm a little disappointed that this song has had the weirdest run ever on Hits 1. It's legit just chilled in the 30-21 range for its entire run, dropping and jumping every other week.

This is the only Tones And I song in 2019.

#119: Dream Boy - Waterparks
“Am I the boy you dreamed of?
Oh, living in your subconscious, oh”
Album: FANDOM - Waterparks
Written by: Waterparks
Produced by: Zakk Cervini
First Week: September 7
Last Week: Halloweekend
Points: 97
Peak: #30

This is one of those songs that Hits 1 just picks up out of nowhere and then it does... okay? Like, I have not heard this song anywhere outside of Hits 1 and Spotify. Anyways, this song is just extremely decent. The high points for me is the production, which is pretty good, and it's extremely catchy. The low points are that the robotic vocals are super weird, and he doesn't sound great in the verses. Also, this is geared towards thirteen year-old girls.

This is the only Waterparks song in 2019.

#118: We Made It - Louis Tomlinson
“'Cause we made it
Underestimated”
Album: Walls - Louis Tomlinson
Written by: ADP/John Ryan/Julian Bunetta/Levi Lennox/Louis Tomlinson
Produced by: Julian Bunetta/ADP/John Ryan/Levi Lennox/Dan Grech-Marguerat
First Week: November 16
Last Week: December 28
Points: 98
Peak: #27

Louis Tomlinson did not have a good year with his album Walls, since he had two Hit-Bound dropouts from it, and a song that only lasted a week. The only one that actually did decent here was this one, which is a shame because I don't like it. It's just incredibly boring. Louis sounds pretty good, but I just really can't get behind this. It's the same melody just over and over again, and when you think about it, the verses and the chorus use the same melody. Which is not something you want to do. So yeah, I don't like this all that much. But it's not bad, which is enough to keep it out of that tier.

This is the only Louis Tomlinson song in 2019.

#117: Sexual Vibe - Stephen Puth
“We're on that sexual vibe
You got me on that wave”
Album: Sexual Vibe - Stephen Puth
Written by: Brian Lee/Ido Zmishlany/Nolan Sipe/Stephen Puth
Produced by: Stephen Puth/Ido Zmishlany
First Week: February 9
Last Week: March 16
Points: 99
Peak: #15

This was a great song by Charlie Puth's little brother. The production is really cool, being just a rocking bassline in the verses, which builds up throughout the song. Stephen's voice is really good doing that low stuff throughout the song, and it really adds a lot to the song. Although the lyrics aren't... great, his voice really redeems it for me and it makes me like this a lot.

This is the worst-performing of two Stephen Puth songs this year.

#116: Stack It Up - Liam Payne
“So if you wanna stack it up, man, you gotta work for it
I-I-I-I-I-I”
Album: LP1 - Liam Payne

First Week: October 26
Last Week: December 7
Points: 100
Peak: #23

Ed Sheeran? That you? Okay, I guess so. He wrote this, but it doesn't feel like him. Or it does, but Liam doesn't deliver really well. For starters, I mean, we all know this, but the beat sounds like Same Old Love's but for the song in general, it's just really not great. The spelling in the verses to make it rhyme is... an interesting technique. I mean, this song isn't horrible, it's not bad by any means, it just feels empty for some reason. Oh... it's A Boogie Wit da Hoodie. He actually added a lot to the song and it feels a little hollow without him.

This is the only Liam Payne song in 2019. This is also the first song to surpass 100 points.

#115: Low Key - Ally Brooke
“Yeah, I know you got some things that you could show me
Low key, low key, you should really get to know me”

So this girl was from Fifth Harmony. Honestly, I didn't like them when they were a group, and I like them even less separate. Ally honestly doesn't sound that good, and I mean, the latino vibe is okay, but I don't like this. I don't have much else to say, so I'm just gonna rap it up here.

This is the only Ally Brooke song in 2019.

#114: Sue Me - Sabrina Carpenter
“So sue me for looking so pretty tonight
Wearing your favorite color under the lights”
Album: Singular Act I - Sabrina Carpenter

First Week: February 16
Last Week: March 23
Points: 107
Peak: #22

Sabrina Carpenter really hasn't had a big hit in... ever. This was no exception, but it was pretty good. Sabrina honestly sounds pretty good, and it's pretty catchy. Again, this is one of those songs that feels kind of empty, and I'm not sure why. It's not bad though. I don't really like the bridge, but other than that, it's solid.

This is the only Sabrina Carpenter song in 2019.

#113: Boy With Luv - BTS/Halsey
“(Ooh ah ooh ah ooh ah ooh ah ooh)
For a boy with, for a boy with love”
Album: MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA - BTS
Written by: “Hitman” Bang/Emily Weisband/Halsey/j-hope/Melanie Joy Fontana/Michel “Lindgren” Schulz/Pdogg/RM/SUGA
First Week: May 4
Last Week: June 15
Points: 107
Peak: #20

Oh, BTS. I don't know why you ever got picked up on Hits 1. Oh wait, no I do know. Halsey. She hardly has a presence here though, and it really just feels like a purely BTS song. I don't really understand k-pop. Like... what is it? I'm a little confused. Also, what are these names? j-hope? Lindgren? Pdogg? RM? SUGA? Halsey? Like... what? Anyways, the rapper here isn't very good, and their voices are all too high to be men.

For some reason, this is the best-performing of two BTS songs and the worst-performing of six Halsey songs this year.

#112: Expectations - Lauren Jauregui
“Wish I had no expectations
I wish that I could get it through your head”

Another Fifth Harmony girl going solo, and this isn't great. Her voice is a little grating in the chorus, and it's mildly catchy I guess, it's a little slow though. Honestly, it would put me to sleep if she wasn't so loud. Yeah, this isn't great. Also, there's a guitar solo for no apparent reason.

This is the only Lauren Jauregui song in 2019.

#111: boyfriend - Ariana Grande/Social House
“You ain't my boyfriend (boyfriend)
And I ain't your girlfriend (girlfriend)”
Album: boyfriend - Ariana Grande

Last Week: October 5
Points: 108
Peak: #16

Um. I'm not sure why this song exists, since it came out like right after thank u, next dropped, and it came as a standalone single... but I'm not complaining. Ariana sounds a little too breathy here, but other than that it's very good. I love how the background (boyfriend) jumps from earbud to earbud (I love it when songs do that). If you don't know what I'm talking about, listen to it with headphones on. All Ariana and the Social House guys sound really good, and it's a really catchy song. I'm not sure why this was a flop, but it did make year-end Hot 100, so that's good.

This is the worst-performing of five Ariana Grande songs and the only Social House song in 2019.

#110: Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Backstreet Boys
“Baby, don't go breaking my heart, breaking my heart
'Cause it's the only one I got”

Points: 112
Peak: #33

I never grew up with the Backstreet Boys, so I never really listened to much of their old stuff, other than I Want It That Way, so I wasn't as hyped as I'm sure some people were (Adrian), and this really didn't deliver for me. Thinking back to it, I was like: "Hunh, I'm not sure why I didn't like that song". I remember now, listening back to it. It just feels like it was filler for a while, and only hit the countdown because it was Backstreet Boys. It's incredibly boring, and none of them have that great of voices. That being said, there's nothing here to really hate, but it just feels substanceless.

This is the only Backstreet Boys song of 2019.

#109: Look At Her Now - Selena Gomez
“Took a few years to soak up the tears
But look at her now, watch her go”
Album: Rare - Selena Gomez

Produced by: Ian Kirkpatrick
First Week: November 9
Last Week: December 14
Points: 114
Peak: #22

I'm still extremely conflicted on this song. I like her voice, and it's very catchy, which I like a lot. But the chorus is a little weird. The "mmhmmhmmh" part is very weird, and I really hate it a lot. The chorus is also a little odd, with the chopped-up vocals. It does slightly work though, so I don't hate it. But other than that, the song is really solid. Although, I do feel it would have benefited from a bit more production. Overall, this isn't a bad song, and I certainly don't hate it like I do her older stuff (Revival, mostly) but I get why it flopped on the charts.

This is the second-best performing of three Selena Gomez songs in 2019.

#108: Hate Me - Ellie Goulding/Juice WRLD
“Erase me, 'rase me, wish you never dated me
Lies, tell me lies, baby, tell me how you hate me”
Album: Hate Me (with Juice WRLD) - Ellie Goulding

Man, Ellie Goulding is really setting up her next album to be a good one, although I don't really like her newest single, Worry About Me, both this and Close To Me are very solid songs. I don't get why this didn't perform very well, because Ellie sounds really good, and I mean it's a collaboration with freaking Juice WRLD of all people. I mean, that should've done better. But anyways, Juice is easily the best part of this song, and it sucks that he's not with us anymore. He had so much potential as an artist, and to see that all disappear was super disappointing. He was really setting himself up to have a killer career. But anyways, this was a really solid song. R.I.P. Juice WRLD.

This is the worst-performing of two Ellie Goulding songs and the only Juice WRLD song in 2019.

#107: frick, i'm lonely - Lauv/Anne-Marie
“Frick, I'm lonely, I'm lonely, I'm lonely as

Produced by: Lauv
First Week: October 12
Last Week: December 14
Points: 118
Peak: #29

This is easily one of the best Lauv songs ever. My favourite part of this song is the almost compressed feel that the track gives out, and it just gives it a lot of charm. I think both Lauv and Anne-Marie perform really well together here, and it makes for a very fun and interesting collaboration. Personally, I like the clean version better, since it replaces (well, you know. I don't have to say it.) with a little "DING!" and I like it a lot. The bridge is pretty great, and I like the end where it comes back. The tone (?) things that you can really hear in the bridge, I like a lot, and they fit in really nicely with the song. So yeah, I like this a lot.

This is the second-best performing of three Lauv songs, and the worst-performing of three Anne-Marie songs in 2019.

#106: broken - lovelytheband

This song actually got to the point where it was in red for me. I went back into it expecting that, and I was thoroughly surprised to find that I liked it again. It's catchy, and the band sounds really good. That's honestly all I've got to say.

This is the only lovelytheband song in 2019.

#105: breathin - Ariana Grande
“Just keep breathin' and breathin' and breathin' and breathin'

This was the only other countdown-debuting Ariana Grande song this year that I liked. And I mean... there's nothing to not like about it. I dare you, name one bad thing about it. Go. You can't. See? Her voice is amazing, the lyrics are really good, and very very well written. The production is nailed here, and everything about it just floats together seamlessly. Oh, and back when I said she sounds good, I mean, she sounds really good. The harmonies fit perfectly, and this song shows off her range pretty well, which I missed with thank u, next. So yeah, this was back at a high.

This is the second-worst performing of five Ariana Grande songs in 2019.

#104: You Say - Lauren Daigle
“You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don't belong, oh You say that I am Yours”

Last Week: March 16
Points: 128
Peak: #20

This was probably my favourite ballad of the year. I mean, Lauren Daigle is just insane in this song. Her voice is so good and although it does sound a bit like Adele's, we didn't get any Adele in 2019, so it's fine. Also, Adele has a good voice, so it's a good thing! The instrumentation is great here, with the piano and strings complimenting each other really well, and then eventually the beat coming in, which adds a lot and is really great. The last chorus is really good, with everything just coming in full swing, and it just makes for a really great ending, and song in general.

This is the only Lauren Daigle song in 2019.

#103: Please Me - Cardi B/Bruno Mars
“Please me, baby
Turn around and just tease me, baby”
Album: Please Me - Cardi B

This was easily the biggest disappointment of the year. After Finesse, we all expected another absolute bop like that, but instead we got this absolute disaster. This is a Cardi B song with Bruno Mars screaming in the chorus. I think we can move on. This song is just absolutely horrid in every single way and I don't know why I didn't put it higher on my bottom songs of the year list.

This is the second-best performing of three Cardi B songs, and the only Bruno Mars song in 2019.

#102: 100 Bad Days - AJR

Last Week: September 7

I so wish this song hit the top 100. AJR is absolutely one of my favourite artists ever, because their huge blown-up stuff just has so much charm and life to it, and I just love it so much. It makes you feel so good, especially with the combination of the great lyrics, about having fun in life no matter what's thrown at you, and although the low voice before the chorus is weird, there are so many things to make up for it. I do think it would benefit from being sped up a bit, but other than that, this is easily one of the best songs of the year, and when I rank every song at the end, I'm putting this higher than I did in my year-end list. So yeah, very very good.

This is the best-performing of two AJR songs in 2019.

#101: Machine - Imagine Dragons

I can't hate Imagine Dragons, you guys. I just can't. No matter what they put out, I'm never gonna not like it at least a little bit. Although Origins was a questionable route to take, and that this was easily the worst song on the album... I still don't not like it. I don't love it though. Even with all of the yelling and the really bad electric guitar, I still find high points, like that the verses aren't bad, and the rest of the production is pretty solid. But that "I AM THE MACHIIIIIIIIIIIIINE" at the end of the bridge is really really bad, and I can't deny it. Though I'm a little glad this missed the top 100.

This is the worst-performing of three Imagine Dragons songs in 2019.

Top 100 baby! We made it! I'm happy to be starting this again, and in case you haven't noticed, Community Rankings are now happening with every reveal! They're basically just a mini-rankdown, for all 10 reveals, if you didn't know. We're kicking off the top 100 with this song, and for the most part, it's decent. It starts off with sounding like an unreleased single from the Jonas Brothers' album, Happiness Begins, which is to say, very good. But then the "drop" comes, and there's just an awful guitar that really brings the song down quite a bit for me. Overall, it's pretty good. I think all of the Jonas Brothers' voices sound good, and I quite enjoyed their return this year, and other for the guitar, Diplo did a decent job on the production. The reason I put it as my #10? It was a very strong batch of reveals.

This is the second-highest of four Diplo songs and the worst-performing of four Jonas Brothers songs in 2019. I lose my bottom ranking for these reveals, and Scott and Tacocat lose a green ranking.

This is one of my personal favourite songs of the year, and Bastille had a good year with the EDM songs. Dan Smith just sounds really good in this song, and it's extremely catchy. The drop is extremely well done, and Seeb does a great job on the production. The reverb on the percussion is pretty cool, and adds a lot to the song. The chorus is amazing, and the last one is especially good. There's an Alternative Version to this song, and it's just as good if not better than this. Overall, this is a very good song, and I wish it did better on the countdown.

This is the only Seeb song and the worst-performing of two Bastille songs this year. BB, Music and Waffle all get perfect rankings.

This was actually Miley Cyrus' first song in a while when it came out, and it was a pretty good return from... that phase. It was nice to see her do some country stuff, and Mark Ronson handled the production here really well. The guitar fits really well with the song, and the song itself is pretty catchy. I feel like this song's missing something, but I'm not quite sure what. Overall though, it is a very solid song, and deserved all the success it got, and probably a little more.

This is the best-performing of two Miley Cyrus songs, and the best-performing of three Mark Ronson songs in 2019. Music gets their second perfect ranking in a row, and Scott and Waffle both knock out red rankings.

I miss this song so much. It was a great pop-rock song, and deserved so much more success everywhere else. I was happy with the #9 peak, but I feel like it still deserved more. Luke from The Struts sounds pretty good in the verses, and although having an odd vocal effect on his voice in the chorus, it doesn't really bring it down for me. Kesha sounds great as always, and this song is insanely catchy. The instrumentation is perfect. Everything in this song falls together seamlessly, and it makes for a great song and a more-than enjoyable listen.

This is the only song from The Struts, and the best-performing of two Kesha songs in 2019. Music loses their top ranking, I lose a green, and Scott loses his #10.

I seriously don't think this song deserved to be the bottom song for Community Rankings, but that's fine. I think James Arthur did a really good job with this song, except for maybe the "drop"... if you can call it that. James' voice sounds really good, and the composition for this song was very well-written. Overall, I think it's a good song, and I think how Hits 1 treated it was good. The end is very good. Just thought I'd add that.

This is the only James Arthur song in 2019. Scott loses his #1 song (oof), BB loses a red, and Music, Tacocat and Waffle all lose their #10s and get perfect rankings. This is Music's third, Waffle's second and Tacocat's first.

The only NF song we got from his album, The Search, (go listen to it, it's very good) is really good and ended up in my top 5 songs of the year, at #4, I believe. Or #5. I don't wanna check. Anyways, this song's great. I think Nate actually has a pretty good voice, which I really value in a rapper, and his flow is pretty good too, when he's rapping, and although the cut-up vocals are admittedly a little odd, I don't hate them. NF stills stands as one of my favourite rappers and this really proves why. Also, the violins are pretty good and add quite a bit. Also also, in case you were wondering what the difference was between this and the edit, it's literally just that he got rid of an extra bit of violins at the beginning. That's it.

This is the only NF song in 2019. I lose my #1, BB loses his #10, and Tacocat gets their second perfect ranking in a row.

I miss this song so much! I almost forgot how much I liked it. Martin Garrix just absolutely nails this production. It just sounds so great. A Macklemore and Patrick Stump collaboration collaboration is really something I never knew I needed. But they actually sound pretty good in the same song. Macklemore nails his verses, and honestly everything about this song is just great. Also, somehow the Hits 1 edit is better. If you forget what it sounds like, don't worry because I couldn't find it anywhere. It just somehow made the song sound more epic. This was definitely deserving of our #1 this reveal, and definitely should've done better everywhere.

This is the only Martin Garrix song, the only Macklemore song, and the worst-performing of four Patrick Stump songs in 2019. BB and Music lose a green ranking.

This is the worst-performing of two Zara Larsson songs in 2019, and there's only one more song starting with an R, that being Rescue Me. Tacocat loses their #1, Waffle loses a green, and me and Music lose our #9s.

This was a pretty big hit, and if I did a 2018 Ultimate Rank it would've scored pretty high. I did lose interest in this near the end of its run, but I like it again. It's much better than Memories, I'll tell you that much. It's very catchy, and Adam Levine sounds pretty good, and actually shows off his vocal range! At least a little bit. Cardi's verse brings down the song slightly, but it's too fun for me to hate. This is a nice chill song if you just wanna sit. Yeah, I'm not quite sure what I said there either.

This is the worst-performing of two Maroon 5 songs, and the best-performing of three Cardi B songs in 2019.

I have no clue why Hits 1 didn't pick up on Head Above Water, but I'm fine, it's fine. No, it's alright because this is a really good song. Avril sounds so good in this song, especially in the chorus, and although I'm not very familiar with her old stuff, this is really good, and... wait? Is that a trap beat hidden in the chorus? Oh my gosh, it is. Go listen to the song with earbuds and tell me if you heard it.

This is the best-performing of two Avril Lavigne songs in 2019. Waffle loses his #1, and Tacocat loses their #9.

This song was actually kind of surprising when it came out, because Halsey's last two singles weren't very good (Without Me, Nightmare) and she actually sounded pretty spectacular in this song. It's honestly really catchy, which is good, and I think the instrumentation here is pretty good. The bridge and whatever comes before that, I actually like quite a bit, and YUNGBLUD actually sounds decent, and I don't hate his voice. So overall, it's a pretty good song, except for the outro which is way too long and doesn't sound very good. Oh also, fun fact: They kept just saying "Travis Barker from blink-182", so I thought he was singing, I didn't know he was the drummer. And I thought that for a really long time!

This is the only YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker song, and the second-worst performing of six Halsey songs in 2019. I lose a top two, and Waffle loses a bottom two, also getting a third perfect ranking.

Yeah, I don't like this song. For starters, the robotic vocals are just really bad and for sure don't need to be there. I find Zara Larsson's voice extremely generic, with nothing special happening with her voice. The chorus doesn't feel like it fell together too well, and as a whole, I think it's kind of sloppy. This is easily one of the most generic songs we've had so far, and also one of the most forgettable ones.

This is the best-performing of two Zara Larsson songs in 2019. Waffle loses his #1, while BB and Tacocat lose their first top twos. Music and I lose our last place rankings. Scott's the only one not to lose something of significance this reveal.

If I could go and redo my "Top 45 of 2019" post, this would probably make it on there. The main thing that I like about this is her voice. Bebe just slays this performance. Her voice fits perfectly with the song, and as a whole, it comes together really well. The chorus is also really catchy, and yeah, this should've been a bigger hit. The last chorus is really good, and that super high harmony honestly doesn't sound too bad. This was definitely a great #1 for this reveal.

This is the second-best performing of four Bebe Rexha songs this year. Scott loses his #1, and also gets a perfect ranking in the meantime, leaving me the only one that's submitted so far not to get a perfect ranking. Great.

This is also one of the most generic songs we've had this year, but personally, I think it's a bit better. I actually quite like Jake Miller's voice, and the production's honestly pretty good. I'm not quite sure how it's this high on the Ultimate Rank, since it's easily one of the most forgettable songs here, (and it got a #26 peak) but overall, I think it's a fine song. I think I just don't love it because of how forgettable it is. It's not too catchy, and I'm not sure I love the minimalistic production in the chorus before the... "drop", and for some reason, the bridge kind of sounds like it would be in a country song. Don't ask me why I feel that way, I just do.

This is the only Jake Miller song in 2019. Tacocat loses their last place ranking, also getting a perfect ranking at the same time.

This coasted off of the huge tidal wave that was Old Town Road, and actually made quite an impact. I'm not sure why, but this and Old Town Road ended up being a couple of my favourite songs of the year. Because for some reason, I just really like this genre, even though it's honestly the weirdest thing to come out of 2019, but I hope it stays around a bit longer. I don't think Blanco's voice is that terrible, and his country-sounding voice works pretty well with this song. It's one of the most catchy hooks we've had all year, and I honestly forgot how much I loved this before listening to it. Oh also, I remember when Lil Nas X hosted the countdown, he had to announce this song higher than Old Town Road, and I remember just hearing the pure disappointment in his voice and I felt quite bad for him. Also, there's a Ciara remix of this? I didn't listen to it, but you can.

This is the only Blanco Brown song in 2019. Tacocat and I lose our #1 rankings, this being the only song with more than one #1 ranking for these reveals. Waffle loses his #2, getting yet another perfect ranking, Scott loses a bottom two, and BB loses his #10.

This song's honestly one of the best of the year, even if it is a little forgettable. The production here's definitely better than I Wanna Know's. Probably because six DJs were working on it. That probably helps. (NOTD is two people, and Captain Cuts is three) Georgia Ku's vocals are honestly pretty great, and fit really well with the song. This definitely should've been a bigger hit, and I wish it was. I'm happy it's this high though.

This is the only Felix Jaehn, Georgia Ku and Captain Cuts song, and the best-performing of two NOTD songs this year. Music loses their #1, and Tacocat loses a bottom 2. BB and I get perfect rankings, and I finally have one now.

This song's alright. Personally, I think it's better than Bob Dylan... maybe? I'm not sure anymore. But FOB's definitely made better songs than those two. I think this song just being so upbeat really helps its case, and the song's honestly just a ton of fun. Patrick Stump's vocals are pretty great, and Wyclef Jean actually works pretty well with this song. I quite like the instrumentation here, and those little production things also work pretty well. Like the knocking, or the whistling. I'm pretty satisfied with how this song did, and I think it performed well for what it was.

This is the worst-performing of three Fall Out Boy songs, the second-worst performing of two songs with a Fall Out Boy member in it, and the only Wyclef Jean song in 2019.

Although this is definitely better than bad guy and when the party's over, it's still not great. Her voice is still weird, with all the whisper tracks, but I think it works a little better with this song than the others. The production's honestly kind of interesting, but this song is just way too creepy for me to like it as a radio song. The male voice saying "Billie" and "Listen" is really weird, and I don't like it. I think it may just be FINNEAS though.

This is the second-best performing of four Billie Eilish songs in 2019. BB loses his #1, Music and I lose a bottom 2, and Scott loses his #10.

This is absolutely the most generic song in 2019. I'm not sure what happened to Stephen Puth's voice since Sexual Vibe, because his voice was really good in that song, when he doesn't even do the low stuff in this song. Every part of this song is extremely boring and generic, and I can forget about it in a heartbeat. So much so that I don't even feel like going into detail, because for everything I'm just gonna say it's boring and generic. Now this review is getting boring and generic. Thanks, Stephen.

If I'm being honest, I totally forgot this song existed. It's still really good though. I think everything with this song falls together really nicely, and it makes for a great song. I think Marshmello's production surprisingly works really well with Kane Brown's voice, and I think the Country/EDM mashup isn't terrible. It actually performed fairly well on the charts, and I didn't expect Hits 1 to treat it this well. Overall, a very solid song, although a little forgettable.

Our one and only re-entry for 2019 (wish I could say the same for 2020) was pretty good. The re-entry made sense, which was nice, since this blew up kind of late. I think in hindsight, it hasn't held up too well due to overplay, but overall it's still a solid song. Both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sound pretty good, and compared to other ballads from this year, it's probably one of the best. Gaga sounds really good in the last chorus, and it's also pretty catchy. I think in a year or so the overplay will have lost its effect, and it'll be better. Overall, a pretty good song though, and definitely deserving to be this high.

This is the only song from both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in 2019. Scott loses his #1, BB loses his #2, I get a perfect ranking (yeet) and Countdown Reviewa loses their #10.

Wow, it's actually kind of funny to think that Hits 1 picked up on this before Truth Hurts blew up, and Lizzo became a huge hit. Honestly, this song's held up really well. As most of Lizzo's songs go, this is a bop. Maybe not as much as Truth Hurts (even though I don't like it, I'll admit it) or the likes of Water Me, etc., but it's still solid nonetheless. Lizzo actually sounds pretty good, mostly because of her pure energy. She just seems like she's having so much fun, you can't resist also having fun. Overall, this is a really good song, and I'm glad Hits 1 did this a solid by picking it up.

This is the worst-performing of three Lizzo songs in 2019. BB and Music both lose their #1s, and also get PRs, and Waffle loses his #2.

Kelsea sounds fine here, and the production's alright I guess. It's a country song, and I don't love country, but I certainly respect this song for what it is.

Patrick Stump's vocals compliment the song really nicely, and everything about this falls together really well. This was a well-deserved hit here for sure. It's really catchy also, and it should've been a hit everywhere else.

This is one of my favourite songs from 2019. It's one of the best ballads of the year, and Andy Grammer really brings so much to this song. His voice fits really well with the song, and the guitar goes pretty well with the song. The reverb-heavy production in the chorus really makes it feel more full. My favourite part of this song though are the lyrics. I think this was quite perfectly written. Honestly, I think it's one of the best written songs of 2019, if not the best. So yeah, I like this... if you couldn't tell.

This is the only Andy Grammer song in 2019. I lose my #1, Scott gets another PR, and BB and Waffle both lose their #10s.

This song was written and produced by Charlie Puth (among other people), and his approach to this song was to make it really minimalistic. Which I don't think worked too well. Katy doesn't really have the voice for that, and it doesn't fit too well with her. The lyrics leave much to be desired, and it feels pretty boring most of the time. Also, the "blah blah blah blah" part really doesn't help this song at all. Yeah, it's alright though. It's not bad.

This is the second-best performing of three Katy Perry songs in 2019.

#74: With You - Kaskade/Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor made some music in 2019. Yup. Both of her songs were pretty forgettable. This song was alright, definitely better than ALL THE WAYS, but my biggest problem with it was that it was just boring and forgettable. It also wasn't a hit, and Hits 1 let it get bigger than it needed to be. Meghan sounds fine, I guess. The layered production in the chorus isn't great, but it doesn't bring the song down too much. The drop is alright, if a little anticlimactic, and Kaskade did an alright job with the production here. But yeah, it's forgettable.

This is the only Kaskade song and the best-performing of two Meghan Trainor songs in 2019. Countdown Reviewa loses their #1, Waffle loses his #9, and I lose my #10.

This is the worst single from Hollywood's Bleeding... but still quite good. The production is fantastic in this song. The bassline is amazing, and really well constructed in my opinion, but I feel it doesn't have enough production, and the beat doesn't really go anywhere. Post's vocals aren't the best he's ever done, but they're fine. It's not catchy, but it's still really solid. Honestly, if you asked me to remember a part of this song, I would pick the bassline. But yeah, overall it's pretty good.

This is the worst-performing of four Post Malone songs in 2019. Waffle loses his #1, BB and Countdown Reviewa both get perfect rankings, and Scott loses his #10.

Don't tell me you remembered this song before doing the form. Because if you did, you're lying. Yeah, I don't even need to tell you that this is forgettable, I'm certain you've forgotten about it already. That being said, it's still a really good song. Anne-Marie sounds good, and David Guetta's production is really good. The robotic vocals aren't great, but it's still alright.

This is the second-best performing of three Anne-Marie songs, and the only David Guetta song in 2019. Scott loses his #2, Waffle gets a perfect ranking, and Countdown Reviewa and Music lose their #9s.

This was released along Shameless, and was a significantly bigger hit. For good reason, I think, although I really liked Shameless. She stuck with the latino vibe with this one, and it worked in her favour. The saxophones work spectacularly with the song, and although her vocals aren't the best they've ever been, they're far from being bad. The best part of this song is for sure the long sax solo at the end.

This is the second-best performing of seven Camila Cabello songs in 2019. Countdown Reviewa and Music lose their #2s, and also get perfect rankings.

~Quick Hit-Bound Dropouts Break #1~

So, I think this is pretty self-explanatory. I'm gonna go over half of the Hit-Bound dropouts from the year of 2019, except with some smaller reviews than the countdown songs. I'll do it in twenty words or less. Going with the theme of the Ultimate Rank, I'm still gonna rank these based on performance. Except since they never debuted the countdown, I'll rank them based on how many weeks they were on Hit-Bound. Ties will be broken by my preference. So of course, we'll start it off with the song that only lasted a week in Hit-Bound.

#22: BLOW - Ed Sheeran/Chris Stapleton/Bruno Mars
"I'm gunnin' for you
Pull my trigger, let me blow your mind"
Album: No.6 Collaborations Project
Written by: Bard McNamee/Brody Brown/Bruno Mars/Chris Stapleton/Ed Sheeran/Frank Rogers/Greg McKee/J.T. Cure
Produced by: Bruno Mars
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 1

This was a fantastic song. All guys sounded great, and the instrumentation was on point.

#21: La La Land - Bryce Vine
"If you wanna waste time
Baby, waste your time with me in California"
Album: Carnival - Bryce Vine
Written by: Alexander Goodwin/Bryce Vine/Desmond Barnes/JP Clark/Keenon Jackson/Michael James Onufrak/Nolan Lambroza/Ryan Baharloo/Sidney Swift/Simon Rosen
Produced by: Simon Says/Sir Nolan
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 2*

Bryce Vine actually sounded good in this. It was also really catchy and a serious contender for Lights Over Paris.

#20: Killer Queen - 5 Seconds of Summer
"She's a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, gelatine"
Album: Killer Queen - 5 Seconds of Summer
Written by: Freddie Mercury
Produced by: Linus
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 2

Actually a decent cover, considering I hadn't heard the original that much.

#19: The Archer - Taylor Swift
"I've been the archer
I've been the prey"
Album: Lover - Taylor Swift
Written by: Jack Antonoff/Taylor Swift
Produced by: Jack Antonoff/Taylor Swift
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 2

Very very beautiful. I'm sad that it was just promo and not an actual single.

#18: I Warned Myself - Charlie Puth
"I warned myself that I shouldn't play with fire
But I can tell that I'll do it one more time"
Album: I Warned Myself - Charlie Puth
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 3

Very cool production. Charlie Puth sounds pretty great too.

#17: Let You Love Me - Rita Ora

Album: Phoenix - Rita Ora
Written by: Finn Keane/Fred Gibson/Isley Juber/Linus Wiklund/Noonie Bao/Rita Ora

Meh. Kind of uninteresting, but not bad by any means.

#16: Takeaway - The Chainsmokers/ILLENIUM/Lennon Stella

Absolutely perfect in every way. Should not have been replaced by Push My Luck.

#15: Don't Call Me Up - Mabel

Album: Ivy to Roses (Mixtape) - Mabel
Written by: KAMILLE/Mabel Mcvey/Steve Mac
Produced by: Steve Mac
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 5*

Catchy as heck. Mabel also has a good voice for this song.

#14: WHO DO U LOVE? - Monsta X/French Montana
"Who do you love? Is it him or me?
'Cause I can't take the pressure anymore"
Album: ALL ABOUT LUV - Monsta X

Weeks in Hit-Bound: 5

The lyrics are really great on this one. Also, Montana's verse slays. Cool production.

#13: Motivation - Normani
"I'ma break you off, let me be your motivation
To  stay and give it tonight"
Album: Motivation - Normani
Written by: Ilya Salamzadeh/Savan Kotecha/Ariana Grande/Bin Abraham-Joseph/Max Martin/Normani Kordei Hamilton

Weeks in Hit-Bound: 6*

Kind of boring. Also, Ariana Grande co-wrote this???

#12: Lost in the Fire - Gesaffelstein/The Weeknd
"And we lost a lot of things in the fire
So it took a year for me to find out (Find out, find out)"
Album: Hyperion - Gesaffelstein
Written by: Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye/Ahmad Balshe/Jason "DaHeala" Quenneville/Mike Levy/Nate Donmoyer
Produced by: Mike Levy/Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye/Jason "DaHeala" Quenneville
Weeks in Hit-Bound: 6

Not great lyrics, but the production's cool and The Weeknd sounds great.

This was a relatively surprise hit everywhere, and definitely here. It's a shame that its run was split in between two years, because if it wasn't, it probably would've been in the year-end list for either year. Oh well. This is honestly a really great ballad. It doesn't really get boring, which is always what I look for in a ballad. The production gets changed up quite a bit, and actually evolves, but the best part is easily the vocals. This is the best vocal performance Selena has ever given, especially compared to most of her Revival album, and FINNEAS only helped that with the production. Goodbye, very good song. We'll miss you.

Waffle and I get perfect rankings. This is the best-performing of three Selena Gomez songs in 2019.

#69: I've Been Waiting - Lil Peep/Fall Out Boy/ILOVEMAKONNEN

Yeah, those rankings look about right. This was my #2 of the year, and for good reason too. The production is just really really good. It was very much nailed. Applause for Makonnen. I'm surprised at just how catchy this song is. Once you hear it once, you're not getting it out of your head for the rest of the day, which is why I think it got popular in the first place. Patrick Stump sounds so good in his part. Like, probably the best he's ever sounded. I think the only reason this didn't get that popular was because of Lil Peep, which I understand, because his voice isn't that great. But this song is absolutely fantastic in every way. Props to everyone who made this.

Music, Scott and I all lose our #1s and also get a perfect ranking. This is the only Lil Peep and ILOVEMAKONNEN song, and the best-performing of four Fall Out Boy songs in 2019 (counting Summer Days).

#68: What Am I - Why Don't We

Geez, I totally forgot what this song sounded like. I really like it though, and I'm happy with the amount of success it got on Hits 1. Ed Sheeran helped to write this, and you can totally tell. It definitely has himself written all over it when you listen to it. I really like the voices of all the guys in Why Don't We, and I'd say this song is only bested by I Don't Belong In This Club with Macklemore. The production does something, and the beat's actually quite good. The harmonies are really well-done too. Overall, this is a really great song that definitely deserved to be Why Don't We's first on the countdown.

Scott loses his #2, BB loses his #9, and Waffle loses his bottom ranking. This is the only song by Why Don't We in 2019.

I constantly have to be reminded that this song exists. I bet you in another year, I'll have no clue how it sounds. That being said, the song is still really solid. Listening back to it, it's definitely better than I thought it was. The bassline is really good, and Ciara actually sounds really solid. My problem with this though still remains the same: the verses are really weird. The production kind of fades away, and you're left with Ciara singing kind of quietly and I don't really like it at all. But the chorus slaps for sure. Honestly, I had this in pink before listening to it, but now it's in blue. Definitely a solid song.

BB loses his #1, I lose my #9, and Waffle loses his #2 and gets another perfect ranking. This is the only Ciara song in 2019.

Why do you guys have to go disrespecting Imagine Dragons like that? This was hands-down one of the best songs from Origins. The instrumentation is actually really good, and Dan Reynolds sounds really solid. There's a little bit of screaming in the chorus, but it's nothing grating, like Nightmare or Machine. This was also quite catchy. I guess you guys will never understand the beauty of Imagine Dragons, no matter how much praise I give them. (P.S., Imagine Dragons are my favourite artists. Just keep that in mind for when they come back).

BB and Music lose their #10s and also get perfect rankings. This is the second-best performing of three Imagine Dragons songs in 2019.

I lost sight of why this song was great when everybody started saying it sounded exactly like Sweet but Psycho. I mean, it's still really good. Ava Max sounds spectacular, and it's really catchy, even if it sounds really similar to her first hit. The lyrics are really really good, giving off a great message, and the production is also really good. Even though it sounds similar to Sweet but Psycho, Sweet but Psycho is also really good, so there you go.

I really like this song. I'm pretty sure that it made my top 10 favourite songs of the year, and for great reason. It's incredibly unique, with its very cool production. The production's a little minimalistic, but it fits really well with the song. Her voice is really good, and this song just fits together really nicely. I'm super glad this was a hit (although Hits 1 didn't seem to agree), even if it took a while to be one. Great song.

This was a very solid song. Khalid had quite a year, getting four really big hits, in the forms of this, Better, Talk and Beautiful People with Ed Sheeran. (And Eastside) This is probably my least favourite of the bunch, but it's still really solid. It's incredibly groovy, and both artist's voices work really really well with the song. It's also really catchy. I'm very glad that this was as big as it was. My one problem with this though is that it's a little boring at points.

Music and I get perfect rankings. This is the first song to get revealed with a top 5 peak in 2019. This is the worst-performing of five Khalid songs, and the worst-performing of two Normani songs in 2019.

I did not like Ariana Grande in 2019. thank u, next was a huge miss for me, especially with this. Other than the incredibly long title that's a pain to write, this song is just really mean. If you listen to the lyrics, it's just Ariana being an incredible jerk. She sounds fine and all, but I don't think she really showcases her voice that well here (other than in the bridge). The only reason this isn't in red is because it's pretty catchy.

Scott and I lose our bottom rankings. This is the second-worst performing of five Ariana Grande songs in 2019.

This song got so old, that I forgot how much I liked it. But in a list this strong, it still deserves that #8 from me. This is admittedly probably my least favourite Dan + Shay song in the ranking, but Justin Bieber adds to it a lot. All artists sound good, and it's actually quite catchy for a country song. The bridge is really good, and the lyrics are great. But yeah, this for sure got overplayed. Still a good song though.

This is the worst-performing of three Dan + Shay songs and the worst-performing of two Justin Bieber songs in 2019. BB loses his #10, and all of those #8 rankings are pretty funny.

This song got annoying really quickly. I actually quite liked it at the start, and even put it on my Top 45 Songs of 2019 list, but now I just absolutely hate it. This is just a direct rip-off of Canon in D, having the exact same chords, and the chorus being incredibly similar. Adam Levine sounds annoying in this, and there's definitely not enough production in this. There's hardly even a band in it. Other than that, I've just heard this song way too many times, and it needs to leave the Hot 100 very soon, or I'm gonna lose my mind.

This is the best-performing of two Maroon 5 songs in 2019. BB and Waffle lose their #9s, and Countdown Reviewa, 13Bubby and I lose our #10s and get perfect rankings too.

So the ultimate goal of this was to try and accurately predict the Top 45 of 2019... clearly, it didn't work out, as you'll see here. Anyways, other than that disappointment, this is probably one of my favourite Twenty One Pilots songs ever. Tyler Joseph sounds great, and all of the production and everything sounds really really good. I love the ukulele in the bridge, and Josh Dunn does a great job here. It's really catchy too, and I'm sad it didn't take off anywhere other than here.

This is the second-best performing of three Twenty One Pilots songs in 2019. Scott loses his #1.

This was my favourite Post Malone song from 2019, from the masterpiece that was Hollywood's Bleeding singles. Post sounds just incredible in this song, probably the best he's ever sounded. It's also incredibly catchy. I'm very happy that Hits 1 edited out Young Thug, since his verse is the worst part of the song, so Hits 1 made it a perfect song. I'm very sad it didn't peak higher than #10, because it really deserved it.

This is the second-worst performing of four Post Malone songs in 2019. 13Bubby and I lose our #1s and get perfect rankings. Waffle loses his #2, and Scott loses his #9.

...And here it is. The worst-performing #1 of 2019. The only reason it was the worst-performing was because it debuted so late. Anyways, I like this song now that it's not on the Countdown anymore. The rock vibe is great, with the bassline and guitar sounding really good. Calum Hood doesn't sound that good in this, but I can easily overlook that. I actually heard a live performance of this song, during the concert that I went to with them and The Chainsmokers, and it was really good. Good song, but a little overplayed.

This is the worst-performing of four 5 Seconds of Summer songs in 2019. BB loses his #2, Scott and I get perfect rankings, and Waffle loses his #10.

Ew. I really don't like this song. The minimalistic production sounds terrible with Charlie's voice, because although he does have perfect pitch, his voice just isn't that interesting to listen to. Other than that, the chorus is just annoying, and I hate that bassline. I'm still upset that this knocked I Warned Myself off of Hit-Bound. This should not have been as big of a hit as it was here.

This is the best-performing of two Charlie Puth songs in 2019. I lose my #9.

This song is actually from 2015, as I'm sure most of you know by now. But to be fair, 2015 music was better than 2019 music, and this isn't an exception. The dude's voice is actually quite good, and I find the song really catchy. The band's really good, and all of it falls together really nicely. I especially like the bridge. This had the weirdest run on Hits 1 ever, especially considering that it wasn't even a hit at the time. It debuted, dropped, jumped, dropped, jumped back up in 2020, getting a new peak at #17 or something, then took a long time to leave. Yeah, I don't know.

This is the only song from PUBLIC in 2019. Countdown Reviewa loses their #2, BB and Scott get perfect ranking, and 13Bubby loses their #9.

I remember when this was first released, a month or so after The Archer, and I was like: "What the heck, this is so boring." Then the Shawn Mendes remix was released a while later, and it was much better, because it's Shawn Mendes. Both artists sound really good, and I actually really like the vocal effect on Shawn's voice. The harmonies in the chorus sound really good, and no matter which version you like more, you can't deny this is definitely a solid song. Although it wasn't as good as some of her other singles from Lover, such as ME!, The Man or even Cruel Summer now (I guess), it's still a definitely solid song.

This is the worst-performing of three Taylor Swift songs, and the third-best performing of five Shawn Mendes songs in 2019. BB loses his #1, 13Bubby loses their #2 and also gets a perfect ranking, and Countdown Reviewa loses their #9.

Post Malone dominated most of our rankings this reveal. I mean, how could this song not be in your top 5? It's just so much fun, and you can't help but smile when you hear it. Both Swae Lee and Post Malone sound really good in this song, and it's easily one of the most catchy songs of 2019. This for sure deserved a week at #1 on the Hot 100, and the spot that it took in the Top 45 of 2019 according to Hits 1 and on my chart. My only problem with this song is that it's way too short. I wish it was much longer, but I think if I put this song on loop, I still wouldn't get tired of it. Great song.

This is the second-best performing of four Post Malone songs, and the only Swae Lee song in 2019. Waffle loses his #1, I lose my #2, Countdown Reviewa gets a perfect ranking with their #3, and Scott loses his #10.

This was OneRepublic's big return single after a while of not getting any hits. It's pretty good too. Obviously not as good as Lose Somebody, which I am just currently loving, but definitely solid. The production's awesome, Ryan Tedder sounds great, and it's very catchy. The message in the song is great, and really applies to current times, being about fake friends. Great song, definitely better than Wanted.

This is the best-performing of two OneRepublic songs in 2019. Countdown Reviewa loses their #1, Scott loses his #2 and Waffle gets a perfect ranking.

Alright, our first song for these reveals is How Do You Sleep? by Sam Smith. This is for sure a solid song. They sound great in this song, and the production's honestly pretty cool, and I like that it's here. The drop honestly doesn't sound that bad (although it's admittedly not great), and the song is ridiculously catchy. This was the second single from Sam's new album, and although it didn't best the first one, I personally like it more.

This is the worst-performing of two Sam Smith songs in 2019. Scott loses his #2, and BB and I get perfect rankings.

This was definitely one of the better Lizzo singles from Cuz I Love You. I seriously respect Lizzo, even if I don't love her music, but I love how she impacted music in 2019. Lizzo sounds really good in this song, and the production for sure helps. Again, it's really catchy, and when Lizzo hits that high note right before the last chorus, it's really good.

This is the second-best performing of three Lizzo songs in 2019. BB loses his #1 and gets a perfect ranking and Tacocat loses their #2.

This song is probably gonna be in the top 10 of 2020, and for seriously good reason too. This was the lead single from Niall's album Heartbreak Weather, and it's super upbeat and catchy. It strays away from the typical structure of a song, and I like that a lot. I think the instrumental in this song is actually really well-made. The guitars and everything sound really great in the song, especially with Niall's voice. I'm really sad that this wasn't a bigger hit everywhere else, but at least it was here. Great song.

This is the only Niall Horan song in 2019. Tacocat loses their #1, and Countdown Reviewa loses their #9.

So funny story, this song and the next song is the closest tie in this entire rank. They both got the same amount of points, but the next one peaked at #4, rather than #5. You'll see what this song is in a minute, but for now, this song isn't that good. I really didn't like the path that Ariana decided to take for this album. There's a lot more rapping, and a lot less good singing. Which sucks. I love what she was going for here, but it seriously wasn't executed that well. The chorus is just annoying, and I think the f-bomb that she awkwardly drops in every chorus was super unnecessary. The writing's fine, and it puts out a good message, but it wasn't executed well at all.

This is the second-best performing of five Ariana Grande songs in 2019. BB and Countdown Reviewa lose their #2s, Scott and I lose our #10s, and Tacocat gets a perfect ranking.

Okay, before I address the quite obvious elephant in the room, I'd like to point out how it's funny that the closest two songs were both Ariana Grande songs. Okay, now to the elephant. Yeah, I put this as my bottom song of the year. I think this is growing on me. I realized that you aren't actually supposed to take the song seriously, so the writing is just all a joke. Plus, the production is actually really good. I still don't love her rapping, and even if it is a joke, the writing is still bad. So yeah, you'll see what I chose as my bottom song of the year later. (You might already have a pretty good guess)

This is the best-performing of five Ariana Grande songs is 2019. 13Bubby loses their #1, Scott and Tacocat lose their #9s, and BB loses his #10 and also gets a perfect ranking.

This was one of my favourites of the year. I actually quite like Lauv, and this song shows it really well. Both Lauv and Troye sound really good, and the song is very catchy. This song's writing is spectacular, and there's not really much else I can say. The production's good. I'm glad this made it into the top 45.

This is the best-performing of three Lauv songs and the best-performing of two Troye Sivan songs in 2019. I lose my #2, BB loses his #9 and gets a perfect ranking, and Countdown Reviewa loses their #10.

I loved the singles from Hollywood's Bleeding, and this was for sure the best (have I said that about every song?). Post sounds fantastic, and the production is awesome. The entire song is super catchy, and it definitely deserved all of its popularity and more. The writing's also fantastic, and it's actually a sad song disguised as a happy song. Great song.

This is the best-performing of four Post Malone songs in 2019. Scott and I lose our #1s, Tacocat gets a perfect ranking, and 13Bubby loses their #10.

This shouldn't have been such a big hit. That's my main problem with this. I don't really hate it, but it definitely shouldn't have been such a huge hit. Luke Hemmings doesn't sound that great, and the production's only mediocre. The song feels a little lazy, and it can get kind of boring. Personally, I think it should've been a bit faster. This song was pretty good live though.

This is the second-worst performing of four 5 Seconds of Summer songs in 2019. Countdown Reviewa loses their #1, BB and Tacocat get perfect rankings, and I lose my #9.

I think in all the success of Talk, we all forgot how big of a hit this song was. This is fantastic R&B, and Khalid's voice sounds fantastic with this chill vibe-y sound. This isn't one of my favourites, but I still like it. Not much else I can say.

I haven't loved Katy's new stuff lately. It's alright, Small Talk and this aren't as bad as Daisies, but they're still not good. This song is just missing in substance. It feels super hollow and empty, although not as hollow as Small Talk. And... the ticking clock. Zedd produced this, and it's pretty obvious this time, it's not really hidden at all. Ah well. This song wasn't a huge hit anyways, so I'm not too sad.

This is the best-performing of three Katy Perry songs in 2019. 13Bubby loses their #9.

I remember when this song first came out, and I was really confused at the start when it started doing the "mmm yeah" thing. But anyways, this is a really good song. P!nk sounds really good here, and I think that’s seriously the highlight here. The whole song works really well with her voice, and I think this was a really good choice for the lead single from Hurts 2B Human, especially considering Hustle did essentially nothing here. It did fairly well on the Countdown, except it starting losing momentum fast literally the second it hit that #3 peak.

This is the best-performing of two P!nk songs in 2019. Scott and Tyler get perfect rankings.

This song actually ranked as my #3 song of the year, for great reason. Dean Lewis’ voice is fantastic throughout the entire thing, and this song literally never gets boring throughout the entire song. The production through the song is really good, and I like how it builds and drops. The lyrics are great, and really tell a good story. I was actually quite surprised with how well this did on the Countdown, reaching a top 10 peak. But I’m sure glad it did.

This is the only Dean Lewis song in 2019. I lose my #1, Scott loses his #2, and Bubby loses their #10.

I tend to constantly forget that I like this song, but I really do. I think Anne-Marie’s pretty underrated, and this song showed the world what she was really capable of. Its run was a little split here in between years, so it probably could’ve ranked higher had it started its run a few months later, but whatever. This song’s really catchy, and I quite like the whole “old song titles in the chorus” even though it’s been done a million times before. I definitely regret not putting this in my top 45 songs of 2019 list, and if I could redo it, I would replace Memories with this. Good song.

This is the best-performing of three Anne-Marie songs in 2019. Tyler loses his #10.

This song’s great. I think benny blanco’s taking a break or something, because most people don’t just stop after getting a huge hit like this. Anyways, I’m super glad that this song’s a hit. Khalid and Halsey sound fantastic here, and their voices work really well together. The production here’s amazing, but the best part is strictly the melody. It’s just so good. This song’s run also got split, so it probably would’ve ranked higher if it wasn’t for that.

This is the best-performing of two benny blanco songs, the third-worst performing of three Halsey songs and the third-best performing of five Khalid songs in 2019. Scott loses his #1, and gets a perfect ranking.

This was the third and last single from the Jonas Brothers’ album Happiness Begins, and in my opinion, the second-best. It’s incredibly catchy, like Sucker, but I just find that overplay killed this one a little more than it did Sucker. Don’t get me wrong, this song is still good, but the problem is that it was great at the start of its run. All the brothers sound good here, and the little (chime?) things sound pretty great. Overall, this is still a good song although it hasn’t held up as well as Sucker.

This is the second-worst performing of four Jonas Brothers songs in 2019. Tyler loses his #1, and Bubby gets a perfect ranking.

I know I ranked this ninth, but it’s still a good song. It was a strong list. This ended up being Khalid’s biggest hit, and I think it was for pretty good reason. Khalid sounds good as he always does, and I think his voice works well with this more pop-ish vibe. Disclosure did pretty well with the production. So yeah, I think this is good.

This is the second-best performing of five Khalid songs, and the only Disclosure song in 2019. Bubby and I lose our #9s, and Scott loses his #10 and gets a perfect ranking.

Bebe Rexha sounds fantastic here, and the drop is honestly pretty great. I can’t really find much else to comment on. This song is just great.

This is the second-worst performing of four songs from The Chainsmokers, and the best-performing of four Bebe Rexha songs in 2019.

This song was one of many Halsey songs in 2019, and just on Hits 1 in general. This is definitely one of the better ones, but it’s still not great. First of all, everytime I hear the start of it, it just reminds me that On Demand Hit-Bound is over, so that’s not fun. But overall, it’s decent. Halsey sounds good, and the production’s pretty interesting, but my only problem with it is that it can get a little boring at parts. Not bad though.

This is the third-best performing of six Halsey songs in 2019. Bubby loses their #1, Scott and Tyler get perfect rankings and I lose my #10.

So this song wasn’t actually a single, but it’s still a really good song and it did surprisingly well on the Countdown, compared to how Roaring 20s did. Brendon Urie sounds great here as he always does. The song as a whole is really catchy, and just a whole lot of fun. It literally just makes you want to get up and dance. Hits 1 sure stans Panic! At The Disco, but I’m pretty glad that they do, because it means we get gems like this on Hits 1.

This is the fourth-best performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs in 2019. Scott and Tyler lose their #9s.

Ah, the rap-country meme super-hit that we’re all gonna forget about in a few years. Good days. This did shockingly well on the Countdown for being in an era when Hits 1 hated rap. As for the song, it’s fantastic mostly just because of how ridiculous it is. I don’t think it held up that well, but it’s certainly still good. I still find it really funny whenever Billy Ray Cyrus comes in with his verse, and Lil Nas X honestly doesn’t sound that bad. I’m pretty glad this broke the #1 record on the Hot 100.

This is the best-performing of (somehow) two Lil Nas X songs and the only Billy Ray Cyrus song in 2019. Bubby, Tyler and I lose our #2s and get perfect rankings.

So this was the first of a decently long list of Dan + Shay songs that Hits 1 has picked up on. How do I feel about that? Whatever. Dan + Shay are definitely one of the most tolerable country artists. This is for sure their worst song on Hits 1 though. I just find it kind of boring. There's nothing about it I particularly hate, there's just not much substance to it at all. Both guys sound alright and the instrumentation's pretty good, there's just not much too it.

This is the second-best performing of three Dan + Shay songs in 2019. Scott loses his #1, Tyler and I get perfect rankings and Bubby and Keaton lose their #9s.

This was by no means the best Twenty One Pilots single from Trench. That would go to The Hype, with My Blood behind it. However, I still think it's pretty good. The beginning's a little boring and it takes a while to pick up, but as soon as he says: "Had you in my coat pocket" is when it starts to get really good. The chorus is pretty good and although Tyler Joseph sounds like he has some weird vocal effect on him, I still think he sounds good. But yeah, at that point that I talked about earlier is when the song picks up. It goes double time and I think that was a really good move. Overall, good song but not great. Shouldn't have been their biggest hit here. I shouldn't have ranked it as high as I did.

This is the best-performing of three Twenty One Pilots songs in 2019. Bubby loses their #10.

This song did surprisingly well here despite not really being a hit. Both MAX and Quinn XCII here sound really good and I like both of their parts. The production's honestly pretty cool and I really like how they used everything. The reason it's in blue rather than green is because overplay on Hits 1 kind of killed it. But it's still a good song. Not much else to say about this.

This is the only MAX song and the only Quinn XCII song in 2019. Tyler and I get perfect rankings.

I'm really sad that this song got blocked both on the Hot 100 and Hits 1 by Old Town Road and Sucker, respectively. This song literally just makes me happy. It's just so much fun that you can't like it. Taylor and Brendon have great chemistry and this was such a great way to introduce the world to Lover. The only weird part is the bridge, but that can easily be overlooked when compared to the rest of the song. This definitely holds up and I'm really sad that it flopped so hard after being a big hit.

This is the second-best performing of three Taylor Swift songs and the third-best performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs in 2019. Keaton and Waffle lose their #1s and get perfect rankings and I lose my #2.

This song should not have been as big of a hit as it was. I highly doubt Billie Eilish will get another hit though, so that's good. Anyways, Billie's going for a creepy vibe and though I can't deny that the bassline and stuff is pretty catchy, her voice really doesn't help. I hate her creepy voice. So much. Yeah, this really isn't a good song. That outro is also just really bad.

This is the best-performing of four Billie Eilish songs in 2019. ScottTyler and I lose our #9s while Keaton and Waffle lose their #10s and get perfect rankings.

Man, overplay destroyed this song. If you could drop into mid-2019, this song would be unavoidable. I bet it was one of the most-played songs of 2019. It's not a bad song though. Both Sam and Normani sound good and the song isn't ridiculously boring, which is good. I just kind of wish I hadn't heard it as many times as I did.

This is the best-performing of two Sam Smith songs and the best-performing of two Normani songs in 2019. Tyler and I get perfect rankings.

All of it just sounds so comforting and I seriously have no clue why. I love it when Khalid comes in and the track just stops. Still gives me chills. Great song and I'm really glad that it hit #1.

This was a fun little song that did way too well on the Countdown. Not that I'm complaining though. This was one of those songs when Marshmello actually did a super good job. Obviously, there's one of those songs still in here, if you can guess at what it is, but there's definitely times when that doesn't happen. I think Lauren Mayberry really brings this one home though. The song's pretty enjoyable. Good song that I'm probably gonna forget about in a couple of years.

This is the second-best performing of three Marshmello songs and the only CHVRCHES song in 2019. Waffle and Scott lose their #2s.

...And here it is, folks. My favourite song of the entire year. It still hasn't changed. Imagine Dragons are already my favourite artists, which already makes the song great, but I feel like anybody could've done great with a song this good. Dan Reynolds just slays on the vocals here. He sounds great. The writing in this song is also spectacular and actually really sad. I'm super disappointed that this didn't do great everywhere else, but super satisfied with how it did here. This will probably forever remain as one of my favourite songs of all time.

This is the best-performing of three Imagine Dragons songs in 2019. Tyler and I lose our #1s and Keaton gets a perfect ranking.

...And here it is, folks. My (new) least favourite song of the entire year. It changed. In case you don't remember, my old least favourite song was 7 rings by Ariana Grande, but I think I finally understand that song and there's actually quite a few redeemable qualities of it. But this... just absolute garbage. Halsey's just screaming through the entire chorus, which is already quite horrible, but the verses are just lazy too. Heck, I'm not even listening to this while writing this review, because I really don't want to hear it. This song sucks.

This is the second-best performing of six Halsey songs in 2019. Bubby loses their #1, Waffle gets a perfect ranking and ScottTyler and I lose our #10s.

So this song wasn't actually a hit anywhere, but did extremely well here. It actually had a similar run to Walk Me Home by P!nk, as it hit a random #3 peak then starting rapidly falling. The thing about this song though is that it got a rebound and actually stayed until the end of the year. I like this song though. Alec actually sounds pretty good here and I like the lyrics a lot. It shouldn't have been this big of a hit though.

Scott loses his #2 and I get a perfect ranking. This is the second-best performing of three Alec Benjamin songs in 2019.

This is the most lazy song ever. The Jonas Brothers had an amazing song and a huge return with Sucker, then they followed it up with this trash. It feels like little to no effort was put here. They all sound decent, but it's just kind of lazy. Also, it hit #1 here and actually did quite well, which it really shouldn't have, because I'm pretty sure it had lost all of its momentum everywhere else when it hit #1.

Both Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber sound fantastic here and I love their voices together. This song's honestly just a lot of fun and I wish it did better here than a #5 peak. Yeah, not much else to say.

Anyways, this is still a good song though. Shawn and Camila sound good together and their voices make a good blend. It's also very very catchy and there's probably no way I'm gonna forget this song in a few years. Uh, so yeah. This is still good.

Don't get me wrong, I like Lizzo as a person so much and I actually quite liked Good as Hell and Juice. But this song was not fantastic. The piano's kind of obnoxious and so is her voice in this song. When she says "stiiiiiing" it's like, actually grating. So no, this isn't good.

Yeah, this was a good song and I'm glad it hit #1 here, even if it was only for a week.

The trumpets fit really well with the song, Brendon sounds amazing, the writing's really good and the song's also really catchy. I'm so glad that this song became a hit in late 2018 to early 2019 everywhere else in the world. It definitely deserved it.

I'm also glad that this was a huge hit. For some reason, Bastille works really well with EDM songs (as seen here and on Grip). Marshmello's production and drop just works really well with Dan Smith's vocals, which is great. The writing's also cool and I like when artists disguise a sad song in a relatively major song musically, such as Circles. Yeah, I love this song.

Tyler loses his #1. This is the best-performing of three Marshmello songs and the best-performing of two Bastille songs in 2019.

So we're kicking off the final reveals for the 2019 Ultimate Rank with a pretty underwhelming song. This was the debut of Alec Benjamin and Hits 1 got the honor of playing this first, which basically just means that they stan all of his songs. This wasn't a fantastic introduction. I liked If We Have Each Other much more. But, this still wasn't horrible. It's just kind of boring and Alec's voice leaves much to be desired.

This is the best-performing of three Alec Benjamin songs in 2019. Tyler gets a perfect ranking and I lose my #9.

This song was the very first #1 song of 2019 and I'm really glad that it holds that title, since this song is great. It was the last single from The Chainsmokers' album Sick Boy and what a way to end it. Kelsea Ballerini sounds amazing here and actually works really well with the EDM production. Drew Taggart also sings here and he also sounds pretty good. The song's also just really interesting. Everything just compliments everything else and it works so well. Great song.

This is the second-best performing of four songs by The Chainsmokers and the best-performing of two Kelsea Ballerini songs in 2019. Scott loses his #2.

Man, this was a pretty strong list of reveals. This was Ava Max's debut single and it's still fantastic to this day and remains my favourite Ava Max single. She sounds great here and the song is so catchy. (So catchy, in fact, that I lost complete interest in it by the end of its run... oops) The production's not too overpowering, which I really like and it adds to the song without taking away from the song. Yeah, this is great.

This is the best-performing of two Ava Max songs in 2019. Scott loses his #1, I get a Perfect Ranking and Tyler loses his #9.

So way back when this type of stuff could actually happen, I went to a concert with these guys, The Chainsmokers and Lennon Stella and this song sounds fantastic live. Also, in the bridge, Luke Hemmings didn't sing the "da-da-da, da-da-da-da" part and the entire stadium sang it and it was really cool. Just felt like putting that at the beginning of the review for some reason. I'm quite tired and really just want to finish this for the sole purpose to say that I did before 2021. This is a great song though. I wasn't too sure about it at first, as 5SOS are just kind of ditching the whole "band" thing, as I'd say there's more production than instrumentation here. But, the song as a whole is just really good. Both singers sound great here and the song's quite catchy.

This is the second-best performing of four 5 Seconds of Summer songs in 2019. Scott loses his #9 and gets a Perfect Ranking.

#6: Someone You Loved - Lewis Capaldi

So I'll also share this little anecdote in another post, but I thought it would be funny to put it here too. A lot of the time when I'm typing Lewis Capaldi, I accidentally type Lewis Capaldo and I find that funny. I'm not sure why. Anyways, yeah, good song. Simple piano line, but I think it works pretty well here and (unpopular opinion in this community I guess) I like Lewis Capaldi's voice. I'm glad with how much success this got.

This is the only Lewis Capaldi song in 2019. I lose my #2.

#5: Without Me - Halsey

I'm really glad that this song wasn't #1 of the year, because I don't think I'd be able to stand two really bad #1s of the year in a row. (The Middle, this) Yeah, it's not like this song is bad, it's just honestly really annoying. Halsey's voice isn't that good and doesn't work that well with the production. Also, overplay. So much overplay.

This is the best-performing of six Halsey songs in 2019. Um, yeah so basically all of us lose our #10s and get Perfect Rankings. lol.

#4: If I Can't Have You - Shawn Mendes

Ooof, this doesn't hold up that well. Upon further reflection, I henceforth have come to the realization that this song is a pretty weak Shawn Mendes single. It's catchy and everything and Shawn sounds good, it's probably still better than Wonder, but it's just missing something. Oh, also, overplay definitely contributed to that.

This is the best-performing of five Shawn Mendes songs in 2019.

#3: Sucker - Jonas Brothers

Oh my gosh, this song is so good. I remember the first few weeks after this came on and it was just on every radio station and I enjoyed every second of it. This is still really good. I mean, when you find a way to make the production of a song catchy, you know you've got a good song. All of the Brothers sound good here and it's so catchy. Great song, still holds up really well.

This is the best-performing of four Jonas Brothers songs in 2019. I lose my #1.

#2: Hey Look Ma, I Made It - Panic! At The Disco

So you've probably known which song was gonna hit #1 for essentially the entire time this was going, but I just want to emphasize just how close this actually was. Our #1 beat this song out by 20 points. 20 POINTS! It passed this song in the very last week in 2019. Up until that point, Hey Look Ma had been #1 for months. Okay, now onto the song. This was actually a really great song even though it got super old. It's nowhere near Panic!'s best, such as High Hopes or I Write Sins, Not Tragedies, but it's still really great. The production's honestly really cool in the chorus and Brendon Urie sounds great as always. And don't forget that this was actually a hit outside of Hits 1. If I'm not mistaken, it hit Billboard's Year-End list of 2019.

This is the best-performing of seven Panic! At The Disco songs in 2019. Tyler loses his #1 and I get yet another Perfect Ranking.

And now... the moment I've been building up to for almost a year now (I sincerely apologize)... you probably definitely know what it is, but I'm gonna make it a big dramatic moment anyways... our #1... is...

I loved this song when it first came out and I love it again now. That's probably mostly because I don't hear it eight times a day anymore. That probably helps. Yeah, this is a great song though. It was no surprise to anybody that this would hit #1 on the Countdown because this is literally a collaboration between two of Hits 1's favourite artists of all time. I think it was executed pretty well. Luke Hemmings sounds pretty good and the production's actually really well-done. The song's also really catchy.

This is the best-performing of four songs by The Chainsmokers and the best-performing of four 5 Seconds of Summer songs. Tyler loses his #2 and gets a Perfect Ranking.

Wow, I'm happy that I'm done with this. It was so much fun and I'd like to thank anybody who participated in Community Rankings and everybody who read this and stayed with it even though it took me way too long to finish this. I promise the next one will go quicker. Speaking of which, that starts in less than a month, doesn't it? (Groans)

But yeah, overall it's pretty good.”

No it is the worst song and it is putrid and Post Malone lyrics are absolutely anise and horrible
