Before we get into the new songs this week, four songs were brought back from leaving last week, Bluebird, Chasin' You, Hard To Forget and The Box. Two, I'm very happy that they're back. One, I'm really not. I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

So this first debut is actually a Pop Smoke song that debuted the Hot 100 back at the album bomb, but it only made it to On the Verge. I guess it was released as a single, because it debuted the Top 40 this week. I'm talking about Mood Swings with Lil Tjay. I certainly wouldn't have picked this as the next single. I probably would've gone with Got It On Me, since it's great, but this was a decent choice. Both Pop and Tjay perform really well, and the chorus is pretty good, and compliments both of them really well. The beat was made pretty well in my opinion, and the production suits the song nicely. This is good even though it's not my favourite from Shoot From The Stars. It was a good album.

The next debut is from A$AP Ferg, Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO. It's called Move Ya Hips. Aside from the super weird intro, this song's alright. It's not that good, because I don't like A$AP or Nicki's voices that much. The only thing that kind of redeems this is Madein's chorus, because it sounds really solid. But other than that, I don't think Ferg or Minaj really delivered all that well, I can definitely see this leaving next week.

Somehow, I've ended up reviewing this song three weeks in a row now... yaaaaaaaaaaay, Billie Eilish. Yeah, I really hate my future now. It's just way too boring. Although the beat spices it up a bit, the beginning is still boring as heck. I've talked about this enough, so I think I'll just rap it up here. This doesn't deserve to be at #6.

Best Debut: Mood Swings - Pop Smoke/Lil Tjay

Biggest Drop: exile - Taylor Swift/Bon Iver (-30): This was expected, but I'm still really sad, because this is a great song. It's been released as a single though, so hopefully, it'll rebound soon.

Biggest Jump: The Bones - Maren Morris & death bed (coffee for your head) - Powfu/beabadoobee (+12): I'm glad to see The Bones getting a nice rebound after last week's #40 placement, but can death bed just leave already? It doesn't deserve to be here anymore.

Since it's a week after an album bomb, we got quite a few songs re-entering On the Verge this week: Girls in the Hood, Supalonely, If the World Was Ending, Got What I Got, Said Sum, I Love My Country and Rags2Riches. Glad to see Girls in the Hood and Rags2Riches back, and I hope the latter debuts the Top 40 soon. Not glad to see Supalonely back though, but you should know that by now.

Our highest debut actually comes a spot shy of the Top 40. At #41, we have Done by Chris Janson. Yeah, this is just another mediocre country song. I don't hate Chris' voice, and the production as a whole isn't bad. The melody's alright, and the writing's pretty good, but when everything comes together, it's only alright. I feel like I'd like it more if it wasn't a country song though. However, I do see this growing on me.

Here's another song that I've had to review a lot lately, I Should Probably Go To Bed by Dan + Shay. I think I somehow grew even more into this. I really like both artist's voices, and the writing is really good. It has a really cool melody, and the production's also really good. I hope this is a pretty big hit.

Be Like That by Kane Brown, Swae Lee and Khalid comes up next, and I don't feel I have to talk too much about this, since I've also talked about it a lot lately. It's a strange combo, but it works surprisingly well. Although some parts are a little uninteresting, overall, it's definitely a solid song.

Geez, we just have a lot of Hits 1 songs that I've reviewed recently this week. Last and least is Tap In by Saweetie. I still don't like this. Saweetie's voice is alright, but I think the production's a little bland, and she doesn't bring that up whatsoever. The chorus is also super annoying. Yeah, this isn't good. I sincerely hope this isn't a hit.

I'm In Love with My Blurb-ure

We just lost a bunch of Taylor Swift songs this week, so nothing that's a huge surprise.

Too bad that Rain On Me wasn't as big of a hit as we all hoped it would be.

Can Die From A Broken Heart stop jumping? There's no reason it should be here.

Both The Woo and For The Night actually made really good rebounds this week. Super glad to see The Woo up here, and pretty happy also that For The Night's getting more success after the album bomb.

Okay, I still like Circles, but even I think it's getting kind of ridiculous at this point.

Both I Hope and Break My Heart got new peaks this week. Super glad that both of them are becoming hits.

Okay, I'm happy and all that Before You Go's getting some success outside of Hits 1, but why couldn't this happen earlier? Now, Hits 1 is gonna hold onto it for so much longer than they need to.

cardigan didn't drop nearly as many spots as I thought it would. Maybe it'll actually stay in the top 10 for a while.

Do I even need to talk about Savage Love jumping anymore? I think it's just a given at this point.

And somehow, Harry Styles scores his first #1 with Watermelon Sugar. Gotta say, I never expected this to hit #1, but I'm honestly kind of glad that it did.
