Last Year’s #1: Hey Look Ma, I Made It - Panic! At The Disco [1/3 weeks at #1]

Countdown Extra: Maniac - Conan Gray

Okay, so for our first debut, at #40, we have Falling by Trevor Daniel. I don’t really like this one. Okay, first of all, his voice sounds super whiny. To the point where it gets really really annoying. The production’s not terrible here, but it’s nothing really special. The song itself is pretty catchy, and I’ll give it that, but other than that, this is just another whiny-rap song.

At #38, we have me & ur ghost, blackbear’s second song here, because hot girl bummer is somehow becoming a hit (yeah, I’m not quite sure how) I actually really like his voice, and the vibe on all his songs is really cool. This one’s actually quite different from hot girl bummer, and I really like that he decided to switch it up a bit.

After seventeen weeks, Take What You Want by Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott finally debuts. I feel like I’ve said everything I need to say about this one. It’s really good and I’d love to see it be a hit. Except that’s the problem. I have no clue why it debuted, since it hasn’t been on the Hot 100 in a long time, and there’s no way it’s gonna get any traction now. I mean, it’s already off of the voting poll, so it might be the song that lasts only one week, which would be a shame.

Next up, for our highest debut, we have Stupid Love by Lady Gaga. This is a great song. Honestly, it’s probably one of my most favourite Gaga songs ever. It sounds a little more like her old stuff than The Cure, which is good, but it also mixes in a bit of current stuff, like a drop (which is nice). So yeah, I love this song.

Best Debut: Stupid Love - Lady Gaga

Biggest DROP!!!: How Do You Sleep? - Sam Smith, 10/10 - Rex Orange County & Dance Monkey - Tones and I (-5): I’m not sure why the biggest drops and jumps are so low, with so many debuts, but other than that, I love both of these songs and really wouldn’t like for them to leave. (I just realized How Do You Sleep? was here too. Meh, this is also really close to the bottom)

Biggest Jump: What A Man Gotta Do - Jonas Brothers (+5): This is a great song to be at #3. I’d very much like for it to replace Adore You at #1 very very very very soon.

My Top 5 Picks
#5: Stupid Love - Lady Gaga
#4: Before You Go - Lewis Capaldi
#3: If The World Was Ending - JP Saxe/Julia Michaels
#2: Some Kind Of Disaster - All Time Low
#1: Blinding Lights - The Weeknd

#4: Falling - Trevor Daniel
#3: everything i wanted - Billie Eilish

Don’t Let It Break Your Heart - Louis Tomlinson [7*]
RITMO (Bad Boys For Life) - Black Eyed Peas/J Balvin [1]

For our first Hit-Bound song, we got SUGAR by BROCKHAMPTON. This is a little odd to have here, since it kind of feels like a rap boy-band, except it’s not really. I don’t mind this one. For the moment it’s just okay, but I can for sure see this growing on me. (Not much of a review here, but you’ll get a better one when it debuts. And I’m pretty sure it will. It’s getting quite the traction)

The Black Eyed Peas score their first song on Hits 1 since like, 2010, this time with RITMO with J Balvin (and without Fergie, but this song works without her since they used a sample) This samples from Rhythm of the Night, and both the BEP’s and J Balvin’s voices work really well with it (and together, surprisingly) this song is pretty long, which is great since it’s really good.

Best Debut: RITMO (Bad Boys For Life) - Black Eyed Peas/J Balvin

Blurb What You Want

We lost four songs this week: Truth Hurts, What Am I, If I Can’t Have You and Fight. Truth Hurts, What Am I and IICHY were definitely due to leave, and Fight was getting really really annoying.

Nothing happened this week. Adios!
