We got two songs that are new to the Top 40 back-to-back this week, the first one, at #38, is actually a song that I forgot to review last week, Here And Now by Kenny Chesney. As far as country songs go, this is definitely one of the better ones. I actually quite like the chorus, and the guitar sounds really good. The one big problem that I have with this song is Kenny Chesney's voice in the verses. He sounds like your basic generic country artist, and really isn't unique at all. But he sounds surprisingly good in the chorus, so you've gotta give him that. Decent debut.

Our second Top 40 debut this week is actually a full Hot 100 debut, BLACK PARADE by Beyoncé. The production's really really good in this song. It's definitely interesting, and I like all the little things that she put in the background. I'm not the biggest fan of Beyoncé though, and she's singing a little quietly in this song. The end is admittedly pretty good though, which brings this song up above Here And Now, but not enough to bring it to green.

Best T40 Debut: BLACK PARADE - Beyoncé

Biggest Drop: TROLLZ - 6ix9ine/Nicki Minaj (-33): Good. I knew this wasn't gonna last at all at #1, but I was kind of nervous it was gonna stay in the top 20 for a bit, but I'm really happy that it dropped this much this week. It didn't deserve that week at #1, it should've just gone to ROCKSTAR again.

Biggest Jump: WHATS POPPIN - Jack Harlow (+10): Ayyy! It's really nice to see this song in the top 10, and I hope this jumpstarts a good career for Jack Harlow, since this song is pretty good.

On the Verge
Be Kind - Marshmello/Halsey (OtV RE-ENTRY)
Supalonely - BENEE/Gus Dapperton
Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) - Jawsh 685/Jason Derulo (OtV DEBUT)
Nobody But You - Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani
I Hope You're Happy Now - Carly Pearce/Lee Brice
Dior - Pop Smoke
hot girl bummer - blackbear
Does To Me - Luke Combs/Eric Church
everything i wanted - Billie Eilish
GOOBA - 6ix9ine (OtV RE-ENTRY)
Die From A Broken Heart - Maddie & Tae (OtV DEBUT)
If the World Was Ending - JP Saxe/Julia Michaels
I Love My Country - Florida Georgia Line (OtV DEBUT)
Snow On Tha Bluff - J. Cole (OtV DEBUT)
After A Few - Travis Denning

Both Be Kind and GOOBA re-entered On the Verge after leaving the Top 40 this week. I'm kind of sad that Be Kind didn't stick around for much longer, since I actually quite like it, but GOOBA definitely needed to be kicked off of the Top 40.

Our first On the Verge debut this week comes from Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, and it's called Savage Love. I'm not sure what the Laxed - Siren Beat stuff is about, but frankly I don't care, because this song is absolutely spectacular. Honestly, I don't think Jason Derulo will ever release a bad song. He just literally can't miss. I think in the chorus for this song he's singing a bit too high for his register, but it's still really really good. I like the mix of slow stuff and upbeat stuff, and I think Jawsh did a great job there. I'm glad to be reviewing a new pop song, and this was for sure the one to do it. It's insanely catchy, and I sincerely hope it debuts Hits 1 soon, because it definitely deserves to be there.

Our next debut is Die From A Broken Heart by Maddie & Tae. Now, I don't hate this song, but the reason it's in red is because it's insanely boring. It literally numbs my mind every time I hear it. I guess their voices are fine, and although I still can't stand the country twang in people's voices, they're pretty good singers. But there's practically no production, and it's just way way too slow in my opinion. I'd prefer if this didn't debut the Top 40.

Another country song comes next, this time by... ugh. Florida Georgia Line. They're newest song I Love My Country (of course) debuts On the Verge this week. Um. This isn't bad... it's not great either. The electric guitar is probably the best part of this song, since everything else about it is just not great. I can definitely see this changing to red though in the coming weeks.

Our final debut is Snow On Tha Bluff by J. Cole. This is solid. J. Cole sounds pretty good, and I like his flow a lot, and if this had a little more production, I would definitely like this. Or rather, if this had any production. I mean... is there even a track? I can't hear it. This is another Black Lives Matter song, and the lyrics are fantastic, but the lack of production would definitely benefit this song, although his rapping is impressive, and it sounds like he did it all in one take. But The Bigger Picture is still better just because of the production. A for effort.

Best On the Verge Debut: Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) - Jawsh 685/Jason Derulo

I'm Livin' In the Bluuuuurb and Now

We lost a few On the Verge songs this week: Heartless, Make It Rain, GO, In Between and Shotta Flow 5. The only one I'm really sad about it Heartless, because it means that it might start flopping on pop radio soon.

Why hasn't Memories left the Top 40 already? It was never good, and now it's even getting old.

I'm sad that High Fashion isn't doing better.

Hopefully Hard To Forget jumps into the top 20 soon, it's getting pretty close.

We Paid is in the top 20... really? This has to be a hit?

Rain On Me is out of the top 10. Come on, everybody.

I still like Circles, but I think that it being in the top 10 is too much.

Roses is in the top 5! I can definitely see this hitting #1 soon.

ROCKSTAR is back to #1!!! Yeet!

Kwaheri, everybody. See you all soon.
