Countdown Extra: Into the Unknown - Panic! At The Disco
So for our first debut, we have all the good girls go to hell by Billie Eilish. Honestly, I’m kind of surprised that this debuted because everything i wanted debuted last week on the poll. This song is… okay. The production here is actually really good and it’s a fun bop, except the problem (again) is her voice. I just can’t listen to it. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I respect Billie and everything that she does, but I don’t like her voice. So, yeah, I don’t really care what happens to this.
At #32, we have Lonely by Diplo and the Jonas Brothers. I expected this to debut, since Hits 1 just loves the Jonas Brothers, but whatever. Honestly, it’s not all that bad of a song. It starts off sounding like an unreleased song from Happiness Begins, which is great. But, then the guitar. Yeah, Diplo hardcore ruined this song. Which then makes it not likeable. Also, it’s short. Still can’t decide if that’s good or bad.
Surprisingly, all the way up at number twenty-one, we have One Thing Right by Marshmello featuring Kane Brown. Yeah, I like this. I’m not sure why, but I find the EDM/Country thing works really well. I actually don’t mind Kane Brown’s voice, and Marshmello did a really good job with the production in making this work. I wish this song the best.
