Hello everybody! So it's been over a year since one of these has happened. These used to happen around every three months over on Nick Perkins' blog, but he's been on hiatus for over a year now, and I always enjoyed doing these a lot, so I decided that I'd bring it back. If you're unsure as to what this is, it's (another) game where we play with songs that you guys submitted. That's right, you get a chance to choose which songs we'll be playing with. To do this, I'll have a Google Form set up where you can put six songs of your choosing in it. There will also be a spot for extras. I highly suggest you put lots of extras there in case somebody else takes some songs that you wanted. Anyways, after I've received each submission, we'll be doing a tournament-style game. Here's what the bracket will look like. Obviously, it'll be adjusted based on how many participants there are. For each round, you'll vote on which song you like more. At the end, the song with the most votes will move on to the next round. Ties will be broken by a tiebreaker round, where you will go and rank all of the songs that tied and there'll be a mini rankdown to determine which song will go through. I really hope that that's clear enough.

Sacrifice vs Levitating
Sacrifice is a solid song, but like come on. We especially stan the fact that it’s the original Levitating, which I actually still kinda prefer.

I can’t believe I just voted for JP Saxe, especially since I didn’t exactly like song a whole lot - the chorus and production were a little odd and as expected Saxe kinda sucks here, but at least it’s not painful to listen to unlike…the other song. Seriously how did this advance??
Willow remix vs Latest Ghost
You guys are so lame lol. When the Elvira remix first dropped, I actually kinda preferred it over the original. But then the original grew on me and I completely forgot this existed. And when I re-listened to it, it was jankier than I remembered tbh. Also it’s up against my own pick so ofc I’m gonna vote for that instead.
Also, I didn’t even realize this until I listened to the playlist, let alone that it might be a problem for some of these guys, but apparently there’s no clean version of Latest Ghost lol

Spaceman wasn’t very interesting at all so this was pretty easy

Again, a pretty easy one for me, mostly because again this was my own pick and the other song I can’t remember what it sounds like at all

Lemonade’s quite a good banger especially considering I don’t exactly like any of these artists. But again, it doesn’t stack up to my pick
Wonder vs So Done
This was actually pretty close tbh. So Done is a perfectly fine little song and it’s quite catchy. But Shawn is such a better singer than Kid Laroi so I feel like I should vote for Wonder.

LMAO we love it when Robbie votes for my pick over his own (not sure if this was an accident on his end or what but still)
Scared To Live vs Lead The Way
This was actually my first time ever hearing Scared To Live. It was fine but I vastly prefer Blinding Lights, IYE, Save Your Tears, and Heartless. I honestly think Jhene Aiko is kind of boring, but Lead The Way was actually quite a good song. I think I’ve already heard it prior to this when I was browsing New Music Friday one week and I still kinda liked it.
Head and Head vs Forgive or Forget
Again, this one was actually pretty close. Forgive or Forget was a good song but it’s not super memorable and I honestly kinda forgot how much I quite liked Head and Heart.

I completely forget what Happiness sounds like. NBNC is pretty good, but I much prefer Betty

These are both good but F2020 hasn’t really aged that well so I feel like I shouldn’t vote for it. Also the radio edit for it is kinda hilarious because it’s so obvious what they’re tryna say
Girl on TV vs Love Me Like That
Hang on, I feel like I’ve heard part of LMLT before in a video or something…? Very random, I know, but I definitely think I recognize that chorus and I’ve always kinda wondered what it is, and now I know. Thanks Carl, I’ve added this bop to my plaulost. Girl on TV was actually pretty good as well, I know I’ve heard this before because I wanted to know if some of her solo stuff was better than Haunt You, and with this it sure is. But LMLT gets my vote for being an absolute bop.
